I had to do him because as soon as he asked for a source about the number of sex workers increasing, I knew I couldn't be asked to have this debate. I don't doubt he has the intention of maintaining the appearance of arguing in good faith but deep down I know he is as emotionally invested into the matter as I am and I can't be bothered to fight tooth and nail for each concession before we part ways. Neither of us changing our minds in the end.
The reason for that is I think it's pretty widely accepted that this is true. I could search for the exact study that brought this to my attention but that most likely wouldn't result in me finding THE study I learned this from but A study that says something similar. Further more, I do not read studies I read the title and the conclusion in brief, so even if I did find the study I would have to link someone a study I haven't read and they're most likely not going to read either just to back up a fact THAT IS OBVIOUSLY TO ANYONE NOT LIVING UNDER A ROCK.
So I posted the baby meme. I think despite my consumption of porn, that porn and sexual services such as prostitution cause net harm to society while he thinks otherwise or perhaps values personal freedom more than societal well being. What ever the case it was futile to even go into it. As is this of course but this is actually interesting to type for me.
