Duh... sorry about that... but seriously! Just about everyone would know by now if Noriko Sakai has ever done Jav. It's not like she was a bit part actress struggling to find a next gig either, thus turning to Jav! No, Noriko Sakai was a big star back in her day, internationally known throughout the East Asian communities. Looking at her Wiki... She ain't got no time for Jav!
^ Actually, she got embroiled in quite a bit of a scandal some years back regarding drug use and that tends to spell the end of your showbiz career if you're female in Japan. The males get rather more leeway, but females are expected to be squeaky clean. I can think of more than a few celebrities whose careers have never quite recovered.
While some fallen celebrities might turn to AV, she had no reason to as her finances were relatively stable despite the contract cancellations and she remained popular with the Chinese and Taiwanese fan base who weren't quite as prejudiced against her. Her career in Japan has recovered somewhat.
She seems to be proof that drugs are bad for you though. Unlike some of her peers who seem ageless, Noriko shows visible signs of aging.
