My apologies if this thread has already been created but MY GOD! This anime is on my own top 5 lists of must see animes.

Bio:Kyosuke Kosaka, a normal 17-year-old high school student living in Chiba,[3] has not gotten along with his younger sister Kirino in years. For longer than he can remember, Kirino has ignored his comings and goings and looked at him with spurning eyes. It seemed as if the relationship between Kyōsuke and his sister, now fourteen, would continue this way forever.

One day however, Kyosuke finds a DVD case of a magical girl anime which had fallen in his house's entrance way. To Kyosuke's surprise, he finds a hidden eroge (an adult game) inside the case and he soon learns that both the DVD and the game belong to Kirino. That night, Kirino brings Kyosuke to her room and reveals herself to be an otaku with an extensive collection of moe anime and younger sister-themed eroge she has been collecting in secret. Kyosuke quickly becomes Kirino's confidant for her secret hobby.

With a total of only 12 episodes and 4 OVA episodes this anime took my breath away. I finished this entire anime in just one day...Yet I cant begin to explain how interestingly hilarious some of the scenes are, especially since they are on the up to date neo-otaku/eroge culture.

I think what I like the most about this anime is that it addresses real stigmas that we all have when it comes to stuff that is not entirely accepted by the masses.

Any thoughts on the anime? Any other fans out there with an increasing passion for another season?!?? :moe:

The basic idea was interesting but i would have designed the characters with more content and interest. the Younger sister really didnt have enough appeal herself to make her a worthy main character I felt but it was a interesting series. Glad you enjoyed it.

One of the few non-fighting anime I've watched and I loved it. Somewhere along the way I developed a thing for Kuroneko. god I'm so lame

I imagine many people on akiba can relate to Kirino's eroge collection lol

For those who have trouble finding it the anime is also called "Oriemo" and it is only available with subtitles as of now. I have the first two seasons downloaded but haven't got around to watching this myself. Thanks for all the input though, it is why I downloaded it in the first place!

Yea I'm not hugely into rom-coms (mostly into sword-fighting) but I enjoyed this one a lot. I've only seen a handful of rom-coms:
Chobits
Henneko
Oreimo
and a few others that don't stand out enough for me to remember right now. So I guess that says something about those three.

I usually initially get drawn in by one of the cute main girls but end up staying for story.

Oh and the OPs are freaking addicting for all three, especially Henneko; I think I watched that show just to listen to the music haha.
