Came up with a pun that's too smart for my own good What do you do with a JAV idol who's got hot body and ugly face? Put a paper bag over her head or send her to plastic surgery?

Did I bring the roof down? Thought so...

But once in a while you really get a pork-chop face on an otherwise very fappable girl, Misuzu Takaoka 高岡美鈴:


Yes she looks alright on the covers, even cute. But don't let make-up, lighting, careful camera angle, and shameless Photoshoping fools you. She has one ugly face, when you watch her vids. But still, I can't help downloading her three vids, because she has very nice H-cup tits and skin.

My hope is that with a few vids out of the way, maybe someone would invest the money for plastic surgery and repair her face. Think she has potentials.

Another girl who might have had surgery after her first few vids: maybe Asuna Kawai 河合あすな? I only recently watch a few of her vids (yes yes I think her tits are fake too, but that's not the point) and out of the blue and I dug up her debut vid for a laugh. And... hmm... her face seems much less refined so did she get some upgrade sometime after her debut vid and now?

Any other girl who you find in need of plastic surgery? Obviously it's not interesting to talk about hopeless girls, who you won't fap for even with plastic upgrades.

(a scary thought... what if Misuzu Takaoka already had plastic surgery and we area already looking at the improved version?)

Same, I find her cute. She is in my pending list but I already saw trailers and she looks cute enough. Even if she was less pretty, I prefer a girl with imperfections than a girl with plastic surgery. I can't remember an actress that look better after a surgery. Arina Hashimoto and Shuri Atomi ruined their faces and look scary, weird, fake as hell, not asian, not westerner.

And to me, Misuzu Takaoka has a far better face than Hanyuu Arisa for example, who did PS.

I prefer more natural girls. And her fucked up teeth doesnt make her cute, they make her look more like the Sloth from the goonies.

It's ok if you think she's cute. That point is subjective, you don't have to agree with me. But I did not cherry pick my pic... actually I was afraid it would happened... of course it did.

I was too lazy to pop on the three vids that I've got so far and find some frames that are representative. But too lazy... anyway the point isn't to hammer on her particular face... so I went to the promo shots that can be found on DMM, these are still photos (not frames from the actual vid) taken (mostly) during the video shoot. The trouble is these are always cherry-picked by the studios, and often photoshopped heavily. You can sometimes notice the same girl appearing in different studios getting different treatments in the promo shots. A cheap, low-end studio would be less careful with the cherry-picking and have no budget for photosops and the same girl would look less beautiful in these low-end studio's photo stills. So anyway I only spend a couple mins to pick from the available promo shots that look less flattering. I admit the photo that I picked, by itself, cannot support the adjective "ugly". Indeed @Shinto1337 's assessment of "average" is pretty fair. But my judgement was made on her appearance in her vids. Seems that at least some of you are pushing back based on only studio-picked and -photoshopped stills.

I remain too lazy to make a frame grab to support my point I think debating her face with stills (which is always cherry-picked, one way or another) on here is kinda silly. Take a look at her vids (or not) and then agree with me (or not). It's OK.

This thread is not about Misuzu Takaoka, but about examples (or lack of, if you feel that way) of AV idols who literally needs a facelift.

Neither. I've just watched her movie to check. If you consider this girl ugly, I think most people here will have to disagree with you. She may not be a beauty but I dont see why this girl would fall under the ugly type. It'll be nice if you can post some picture or scene where you found her ugly..

There's no question about covers and stills being heavily photoshopped.
However, I saw her debut movie just last week, and while she is not a stunning beauty, her cute and innocent face works incredibly well with her explosive body.

The cutie types (Tsubomi, Saya Tachibana) usually have a body that matches that look. It's refreshing to see something different.

There are natural girls in Kpop. I follow some groups like Twice, Red Velvet and Momoland, they don't look like aliens at all lol (even if one in Red Velvet probably did her jaw line, or it's a weight loss, I don't know her very well). Basically "2D culture" has taken over, and natural "3D" girls can't get anywhere in the market place. Blame otaku fanboys/cherryboys.

Don't get me wrong, in real world, I prefer natural people, without make-up, most of the time. But here we are talking about pixels on screen, not people. For pixels on screen, I care only that she looks pleasing for the duration of the vid, I don't care that her breasts may become deformed when she gets older, or her skin will age badly due to too much make-up and plastic surgery.

@arnoldlayne what you talking about there is not the real naturalness, just that the cosmetic surgery is styled more naturally, so not every girl looks like a caricature of Melania Trump (but you start to see some of these in-your-face style of cosmetic enhancement also). My own mindset is not too different from yourself, I'm saying enjoy it while it lasts, it won't last very long.

I know very little K-pop, but I know that in South Korea, cosmetic surgery for both men and women are more common that a university education. Almost anyone wishing for modest career success will go under the knife, regularly, at least some needle jabs every couple of years. And I'm not talking just about show biz, talking about all kinds of careers.

Almost all my actual favorite actresses have some apparent imperfections, the only exception being Miura Sakura. In this sense, Misuzu Takaoka (which I agree is far from having a cute face) is not such a strange case.

I kinda agree with you. I saw her photos and cover and i was like "Wow! She's hot and gorgeous". But then when i watch her videos, i'm kinda a little bit disappointed. Like is this her? Is it because she's photogenic or her photos are just photoshopped?

Tho i don't agree that she's ugly. Her face is still above average for me But yea, she's lagging behind compared to most of the top jav actresses.

Seems we are coming together on facts, only different in tone. I quite agree JAV and K-pop cosmetic surgery (and make-up etc) are much more naturalistic than US and EU porn (and some major segments of mainstream celebs). But the trend is a bit in the wrong direction. There are a few cases of bad plastic surgery creeping into even major studio vids. My fav example is Eimi Fukada who got a +5cm, +3 cups upgrade after 1 year as a planning performer and become a major star.

These bad surgery cases were almost totally absent, in the good old days. Now the default assumption is every idol has had some work done, and a few of them are so obvious to the extent that it's anti-fapping.

Lighting, make-up, very careful selection of photos can do wonders for a girl who's ugly in 3D. Plus liberal use of photoshopping.

Now, I maybe should restate my position. In 3D world (real life) I have a very sensible view of feminine beauty. A face like Misuzu Takaoka would be good enough for (almost) all intents and purposes. In 3D, personality weights maybe 60% (especially if she swallows and opens for backdoor) but in 2D world, it's a totally different calculation. Skin deep beauty is 90% and personna is 10%.

So someone like Sakura Miura is excellent example. For 2D, she is a star, for real life, I think she is too Barbie perfect, she actually looks fake even if she were all real.

So how many of you guys are familiar with Momonogi Kana? If you're not, here's one of her recent covers:

Pretty hot, huh? I think she is so I watch her sometimes. Last time, however, I went back to browse some of her older titles and what did I find? This:

I could not believe that was her. And she's done more than just this film looking like... that. She then disappeared from JAV for two months and came back as a hottie for IdeaPocket pretty much looking like she does on that first cover that I linked. So what happened? Did she do plastic surgery? Was it just a matter of losing weight and changing her hair? Did the admin mess up and put two different girls under one name that happened to have the same name??? I really don't know, that's why I'm turning to the experts here. But if that's Momonogi Kana, then even I cannot deny that massive improvement. Not that I changed my mind and encourage plastic surgery from now on, but wow...

I do not object to cosmetic surgery. I also agree that after plastic surgery, every girl is very beautiful. But in my opinion, I have little feeling about these beauties. They are beautiful, but all of the same kind of standard. Sometimes, I don't even remember their faces because I can't distinguish them. In short, they completely lost their personality. In short, they completely lost their personal characteristics. And remember this, personal characteristics make each person attractive. Not only the face, but also the body (boobs, butts...)
