In one of the photos you can see the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building ... when I was in Tokyo I went to the observation deck and as I was looking around I noticed you can't see the end of the city, Tokyo seems to strech to the horizont ... and you are 200 meters high.......makes for a weird feeling.

Yeah, I agree.
I had been using the train and subway to get around obviously and it must've been a couple of months before I drove on one of the elevated expressways.
Heading west and looking south out over Tokyo reminded me of something out of Bladerunner! Just a vast expanse of city that stretches on and on. Quite mind-boggling initially and a real perception shift.

You can appreciate the size of Tokyo even more if you manage to take a look from a tall building by night like I did ... is was drizzling so the Blade Runner impression was even more noticeable.
Ok I found what that building was, it was World Trade Center2-4-1 Hamamatsuchō, Minato Tokyo, Japan.
