I don't get to eat too much Japanese cooked food myself, I usually go Chinese. Not because they are better but because around here there are ten Chinese restraunts for every Japanese one and they are much cheaper. Still...eating Japanese food in Japan would be "the shit" and shallow or not it would probably be my biggest reason for going there. Fried dumplings are awesome but don't forget the sauce.
