My horrible performance during my group's year-end party and shooting challenge. God damn I do NOT slim down on camera, do I...

I couldn't even see where the hell my bbs were going. That's what I get for not sighting in my fucking gun before-hand. Of course, I'll just blame the fact that I had a fever of 39C and couldn't eat all day due to swollen lymph nodes. That'll clean up my reputation... yes sirrrrrrr-eeeeee

It looks like an eel but eels don't have scales. Stumped me there and I fish a bit. There are over a hundred thousand different varieties of Saltwater fish so I wouldn't go nuts over not knowing one. Scale it, gut it, cut off the head, and cook the bastard over an open fire.

Sometimes the Wiki just gives me fits but with a site that stores so freaking much information there are bound to be inaccuracies and misleading statement.

The description of the Burbot is "Like a cross between the catfish and the eel", neither of which have scales so the chances of it being a cross between the two is next to none. Looking at the pictures they have and the picture aquamarine posted I am not sure I agree with you but I give you props for the effort.

note the definitive scales, no whiskers, and an unusual tail fin, (it doesn't really look like a fin at all and I can't place it):

[/QUOTE]

from the wiki:
300px-Tr%C3%BCsche_Walchensee.jpg

the scales are so small as to be invisible and the tail fin is different.

maybe closer to a mudfish or a channa of some sort

sorry for the intrusion; can anybody please explain what the hell this "game" is about?

i know it must be about good luck or something, but i didn't get what they were doing :puzzled:

Desu: That isn't so much a game as it is a 'fortune box'. You pull a numbered stick out of a can elsewhere on the site, then go and pick out the fortune from the box with the correlating number. That's it :)

First and foremost, have a pic, to excuse my reiterated intrusions, and to stay somewhat on topic.

Then, a couple questions (in spoiler, to keep it short), if aquamarine doesn't mind me shitposting his thread.

[hide]Do ugly japanese girls really exist? At least, in a statistically significant number?
I can't really believe in what I'm seeing in these days :nosebleed:
Many guys are pretty handsome too, and they're also tall! I'm 1,85 more or less and most of them are on par, while some are even taller... another myth busted, or optical illusions?

Am I the only one who loves the residential part of Harajuku? Now, if only they would nuke the shopping street...

How would people generally react if i ask to take a picture of them?

What should I answer when somebody thanks me (for buying stuff at a shop)?
Douzo? or maybe nothing at all?[/hide]

oh, and btw, i have a -fake- facebook account where i'm uploading all of my photos. they're set to public, so if anybody want to take a peek, you're welcome, but be warned: they're really amateurish and it's the usual crap you see everywhere

-there are heaps of ugly girls around where i am. lots of pretty ones too. its just a matter of taste.
I can't really believe in what I'm seeing in these days :nosebleed:

-not sure about that. im only 180cm and im still bigger than 90% of the people i know. changes in diet (specifically increases in bread, red meat and milk consumption) is changing the current generations body type though

Am I the only one who loves the residential part of Harajuku? Now, if only they would nuke the shopping street...

How would people generally react if i ask to take a picture of them?

-most people would politely refuse...unless you are good-looking, look like you know what youre doing or come across as a 'forgivable' foreigner. again, tokyo may be different.

What should I answer when somebody thanks me (for buying stuff at a shop)?
Douzo? or maybe nothing at all?

-you can just make a small bow with your head, or, if you want to say something, doumo, suimasen/sumimasen, arigatou gozaimasu or a slightly elongated 'haaii'. douzo is often used as a prefix to polite japanese and so isnt suitable[/hide]

It should be noted that the 'residential part of Harajuku' is just Omotesando. And yes, it's quite nice.

At a store, I always just say "arrigato" and that's it. It's enough.

Ahh, thats a shot from Akihabara across from the main UDX building on main street.

'What to do?' - depends what you're into man. There's LOT to do but without some guide, I wouldn't know where to send you other than to a gay-swingers club.

Somehow that worries me for you to say that. If you are both in the same area why don't you guys hook up? (that doesn't sound right....)
