Porn parody of manga and anime better than TV drama version
October 18, 2024 by Tadashi AnahoriJapanese porn parodies are two a penny. Every few weeks seems to offer up yet another colorful AV parody of a franchise or real-life incident. We reported on the new Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End porn parody last week, for example.
But though at times inventive or even provocative, these parodies tend to have lowish production values and, let’s be honest, are basically a cash grab.
And so people have reacted with surprise at the high quality of the porn parody of My Dress-Up Darling (その着せ替え人形は恋をする), a manga, anime, and (since this month) TV drama on MBS, because the adult video seems actually the superior and more faithful version!

The AV parody came out in 2022 from Deep’s and stars stripper and porn performer Rika Aimi.
The MBS drama adaptation stars Riko Nagase and started showing on MBS from October 9.
The My Dress-Up Darling manga was written and illustrated by Shinichi Fukuda, and ran from 2018 to 2024. The first series of the anime version came out in 2021.
