Sorry for the downtime for the last day or so.

There was something wrong with the server (one of the CPUs was faulty, which caused a corrupt filesystem) but it's sorted now.

Enjoy the rest of your week.

So nice to have "akiba" back. I suggest you guys keep an independent blog or twitter to publish your down-time etc.

With most people here being utterly dumbfounded by a torrent client, or god forbid muli-part passworded RAR's, I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for them to turn up on IRC.

On second thought, who really gives a shit about those people anyway, they should learn to use google...

Great to have the board back, I was starting to get concerned. (At least I managed to catch-up on some of my torrents/seeding...) ;)

Is it just me, or did the favicon.ico change since we came back from this outage?

Way too many downtimes lately. The first one I really noticed seems to last like at least 2 or 3 days. And now a few minutes ago there was a long downtime too. I hope these errors don't happen that much in future.

He probably is talking about the post 9 in this thread.
Well, I really can't tell for sure because:

Well, someone did something, somewhere...

ctrl/refresh did nothing previously, and www.akiba-online.com/favicon.ico gave me:

Code:
404 Not Found

 nginx/0.7.61
but now it's back and my tabs bar looks the way it should again :)

Edit: Nope,... Although it's there when viewing it at it's direct link (www.akiba-online.com/favicon.ico)
45892357.gif
it's still not showing up on forum related pages. Examination of page source also reveals no reference to the favicon.ico. I"m no expert, but shouldn't this appear in the head section somewhere:

Code:
<link rel="shortcut icon" href="http://www.akiba-online.com/favicon.ico">
My tabs still look like this:

CTRL/F5 - No change
SHIFT/F5 - No change
Clear cache/cookies, restart windows - No Change

Internet Exploder Explorer - Working fine!

I can't manage to replicate your problem.
It loads fine every time.
