Question about jav actress

why jav actresses change their name at some point in their career? people who know her old name wont find her new video, wouldn't it bad for their career??.

Do jav actresses work for one studio exclusively? or they can accept contract from any studio?

and why actress like Nakazato miho have an AV where she got slapped, whipped and all those crazy stuff but kirara asuka only had a lousy fake slap in some of her av?
is there a jav actresses category where this actress will only do normal stuff and the other will do the crazy one?

Different reasons, but in most cases it's probably when they change management and their old company owns the name.

Yuu Kawakami changed her name early in her career, previously she was working under the name Morino Shizuku. I've heard that in her case it was kind of a rebranding thing, as in, previously she had mostly done schoolgirl and teen stuff but she quickly grew out of that, and Yuu Kawakami was her mature porn persona...of course company shennanigans might've played a role as well.

1. mostly because they change agency, and some of them use different stage names for uncenssored vids

never heard it would bad for their career, die hard fans always can trace their works through dozen of different names

2. they can't if they are under exclusive contract, if they are not they can work as freelance, mean they can work for any studios

3. depends on them, some only available for soft clean porn and we call them vanilla
