Raging Phoenix is the comeback of Jija Yanin, the female action icon, that combines new stunning martial art styles and love story to be the ultimate action-romance film. Focused specifically to Jija''s skills and personality, Raging Phoenix fuses her martial arts skills with hip hop dancing and other elements. The film also introduces a newcomer, Kazu Patrick Tang who teams up with Jija on the big screen.
Chocolate heroine Jija Yanin kicks back into action in her highly anticipated second film Raging Phoenix. Directed by Rashane Limtrakul (Romantic Blue, 4 Romances), Raging Phoenix packs in stunning fighting scenes from the petite Thai martial artist who mixes Muay Thai with hip-hop dancing this time! Much more than a gimmick, the martial arts-meets-breakdancing premise serves as inspiration for some truly inventive and fluid action choreography. Raging Pheonix also introduces audiences to Drunken Muay Thai, complete with a showdown against the Chinese Drunken Fist style. Also dishing out impressive bodily damage are French-Vietnamese martial artist champion Kazu Patrick Tang in his film debut, and women's body building champion Roongtawan Jindasing who plays the chief baddie. Depressed socialite Deu (Jija Yanin) picks fights and plays the drums in a rock band. One drunken night, a mysterious woman and tranvestite ambush Deu in a garage, but she gets rescued by Sanim (Kazu Patrick Tang) and his crew of Muay Thai-savvy B-Boys. From Sanim, Deu learns about a kidnapping ring that targets special girls like herself and Sanim's bride, who disappeared on their wedding day. Determined to get revenge, Deu trains hard in martial arts under Sanim to prepare for the ultimate fight.
