One Punch Man (this is the current big hit. It's a gag-comedy battle story. Easy and fun to watch).
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (especially the 3rd arc, Stardust Crusaders. If you can only watch 48 episodes of Jojo, watch Stardust Crusaders).
Hikaru no Go (this was the major series that really made it big for Obata Takeshi, before he continued on to draw Death Note. All the girls from my past loved this story).
Slam Dunk (this is about basketball. This is a bucketlist series that everyone should watch; or actually finish reading, since the plot only concludes in the manga).
Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust (dark, gritty, sci-fi fantasy. The character design was originally done by Yoshitaka Amano who became famous for Final Fantasy 1-6, and 9. I've rewatched this movie so many times, because its such a great and touching story).
Maison Ikkoku (most of my friends say this is their favorite series done by Rumiko Takahashi. It is a better paced, realistic, most complete romance comedy over her later works of Ranma 1/2, Inuyasha, etc).
Berserk (everyone that I have recommended Berserk to loves Berserk.
Prince of Tennis (fun to watch, addicting impossible tennis and great sportsmanship).
Golgo 13 (This has got to be the longest running manga in history. Like over 40 decades worth. I recommend watching the TV series first for something easy to watch. The movie is pretty dark, noirish. There's sex and blood in both the TV series and the 2 movies, but the movies are more graphic).
Gundam The Origin (Yoshikazu Yasuhiko, the artist, is like an idol role model for many of the current famous artists. Clamp (responsible for Chobits, X, xxxholic, Tsubasa Chronicle, RG Veda) are practically on his nuts and revere him as a god over his art and story telling ability. This new anime OVA series is the beginning of the whole Gundam Universal Century timeline, which includes 0083 Stardust Memory, Gundam UC, and Char's Counterattack, among others).
Initial D (this is another bucketlist anime. It has singlehandedly raised the value of Toyota Corolla GT-S's in the US. It used to be you could buy the car for $800 or so. Now, finding one in decent condition will probably be at least $3,000. Most Initial D fans go on to watch a lot of Best Motoring, Hot Version, Option vids and open up to watching Top Gear, Fifth Gear, and more car related stuff. )
That's all for now.
