Thanks for your input @st1402. Actually my perception about all of this is basically the same as yours. From reading blogs and stuff about Rei, the thing is that, when she was done with gravure and Bratz started getting more recognition, internationally even, her name started to naturally get more Googled/searched for than ever and her past as a junior gravure model was basically "uncovered" by new fans (old bitter fans have to keep in mind that up to a certain point in the past her gravure activities were mostly only known among niche communities like this website) and then she started getting a lot of shit because of it, when all she really wanted was to leave it behind. She started very early and presumably didn't have much of a choice in it, so whatever way she feels about her past is completely understandable, in my opinion.
