remove EIC wmv DRM

I have made many purchases from EIC but hate their video player. I would rather use vlc after converting to mp4 or mkv. But the DRM seems impossible to remove.

Has anyone had success in removing DRM?

AFAIK , no one.

the same for R18. Buy videos and realize they have DRM, can't upload to my home cloud

You have to use screen recording software and record it as it plays. Of course there is a loss in quality in a few ways but it’s better than nothing. DRM is such trash...
