Back to Attackers in the end. If I have to choose between Madonna and Attackers, I choose the latter though...
I think she's one of the most beautiful-looking pornstars in the world. She has, for me, runway-model caliber looks. A statuesque beauty. I just wish she'd go more hardcore in terms of her performances, though. Under her previous name, she did star in some heavy bukkake titles for IdeaPocket and Moodyz that are collector's item-worthy. Not to put anyone down, but the new crop of talent simply doesn't match up with those who've left, and aside from a handful or two of anal/DP, lesbian, jukujo, netorare and straight titles here and there -- plus the presence of a few reliable hall-of-famers who haven't left, it seems JAV is in serious trouble. Since the late-1990s I used to prefer it over US or Euro porn, but if 2016 is any measure for the future, it's going to be hard for them to win over new fans and viewers, much less keep longtime fans like myself enthused.
I don't know what's happened in Japan or in the JAV industry over the past year-and-a-half, but Japanese adult video seems to have nearly gone kaput. Some may disagree, particularly those who like shemale titles (which have become way more abundant and which are, I believe, the biggest reason JAV's gone south). There's no denying that, despite testing and condoms, shemales and gays account for over 80% of HIV and STDs. Read up on your stats from the Centers for Disease Control if you don't believe. That's surely why the top female performers in the U.S. -- and no doubt Japan -- won't work with males who cross over into those genres. Today, if you go to DMM and do a search on "Anal" or "Anal Sex" (categories 5005 & 5076), you find mostly "newhalf" or scat titles, and only a sprinkling here and there of M/F anal sex titles. Some really interesting points there, especially about the whole trans sex/STD angle. It's not something i'm into but i will watch a new half movie now and then, and it's always a surprise to see so many of the 'mainstream' actors involved. The whole sexual health aspect is certainly an important one and i hope it's something that will be dealt with appropriately, otherwise, a major health scare could be just round the corner. There definitely seems to be a rise in shemale performers and movies, so clearly the demand is there. I guess at some point, straight porn is simply not enough, and so people go in search of harder and more 'extreme' material such as anal, dp and trans sex.
In terms of 2016, i have to say that i don't quite agree with you completely. Though a few of my favourite studios have gone downhill a little (Fa-pro and Deeps come to mind), others have flourished such as Natural high, Nagae style and Jet Eizou. It's all just a matter of opinion though. Every year we lose many actresses from the business but there are always others to replace them. Alice Miyuki or Rina Rukawa may be gone but Iroha remains, as does many others such as Hibiki Otsuki, Riku Minato or Ayumi Shinoda.
As for Natsume Iroha, we still have JUY-034 to go before her switch back to Attackers. Who knows what she will do in the future but i had hoped for better from her time at Madonna. Still want to see something more interesting from her as her movies with IdeaPocket were generally better, though i think her acting performances in the recent attackers movies have been really good which is why the translations have always worked.
Something a bit wilder in February: the 4th instalment of Attackers' "Female waking up to masochist" series. I would love to see her in the Pleasure Torture Laboratory Institute series too.

I'm still waiting on ADN-116 to see how her return to Attackers is. Still haven't seen her last movie tbh, such is how bad the Madonna movies were. I'm not really into bondage so RBD-822 doesn't appeal to me immediately but i hope that her return to the studio will liven up her performances. She just seemed to be phoning it in for Madonna and my enthusiasm for her really dropped.
Motiman, I was surprised by her last Madonna video (juy-034)! It was one of her best videos in a long time imo - not a typical Madonna video. She was smiling and seemed to be really enjoying herself. I can recommend it.

I SO hope that a translation for this one is done sometime in the near future. There's a lot of dialog (no sex though) in the 1st 10 minutes that apparently sets the stage for the rest of the movie but I'm doing little more than guessing what's being said.

X-Man, I am not aware of any JUY-034 translation having being done or going on at this moment. Perhaps we should think about it in the future.
Madonna are going to please a collection of her videos. I understand they say this video will contain footage not released before. My experience from similar releases in the past tells me that the new "scenes" are not worth their salt.
