I was PMd by a member here (thank you!) w/ the idea/suggestion to move my posts to a brand new thread.
I have mixed thoughts on this.
I mean if we make things too “granular”, then there will be 20+ threads all with no readership. Taking this to the extreme we could have a thread for each lesbian series, one for me, one for torrents, this one for DDLs, etc…on and on.
I find these forums work better if we create one MAIN thread on a tight subject and we keep all of the readership in one thread. But then we do have to keep it on subject! So bottom line I think there should be ONE lesbian thread.
So I guess we need to decide what the definition/mandate of this group should be? Is this *just* a DDL/Rapidshare group? Or can we make this the main lesbian group, and if it’s lesbian in nature, be it DDL, torrents, scene Ids, whatever, we talk about it here. (I personally think that is the better idea).
On the other hand, I would be fine to start a new group just on the topic of Lesbian in USENET. But I think we have already posted a lot of good information here so I would have to start over from scratch.

I think it would be best to respect the sections of the forum we post stuff in. This thread is in the ddl section so it would be best to only put ddl links here.
Having 1 lesbian thread in each section would let people choose their preferred method of downloading and stick to the one lesbian(or more if they use more than 1 method) thread from the right section.
For example, I hate torrents so I almost never go to the torrent section unless I'm looking for something that can't be found elsewhere.
And if people start posting more in the usenet(p2p) section, it will eventually get its own section.
Since this thread as long ago lost its original purpose(slimedog doesn't even upload to it anymore) and is pretty much the most popular lesbian thread here, we could post stuff in the right section, and when it can't be found elsewhere on the forum, let people here know that it's been posted in another section with a link to it(and not by posting it here directly).

Almost forgot to say that we already have multiple lesbian threads since slimedog and I started the LADYxLADY and Anna and Hanako threads separate from this one and plenty of people follow them(maybe less so these days since it's getting harder to find the missing ones).

This sounds like a good idea.
Anything that is uploaded to filehosters can be posted directly in this thread (as usual) and everything that is uploaded on, for instance, usenet can be posted in a "girl-on-girl usenet" thread. After that, you can post the link to the file in this thread, so that this thread is like the "main-center" from all girl-on-girl content that is going to get posted. The only -slight- problem that might occur, is that some people still don't understand the meaning of "lesbian" but still keep posting the videos, but i guess that we got over this problem (even though i consider some of the FA-PRO lesbian titles not as "lesbian" since they have a scene with a guy in it which freaked me out, but i'm going off-topic, as usual ;D)

I downloaded and tuned in in about 4 or 7 movies and there were always a scene with a guy in it (or in movies like, i guess it was FAX-209 in almost all scenes D I thought we were over this :/

Well, the lesbian content in them is really good. I just skip the hetero parts. I'll post the others under general JAV then if it bothers you that much.
If you get that then just right click on the file and select your news server from the drop down box and it usually works. I've had this happen for me on several files.
I didn't want to say anything, but....
For me it boils down to this: I don't have a usenet provider subscription, haven't for a couple of years now. So basically, the newsgroup postings are useless to me and anyone else who doesn't have a subscription with a usenet provider. I know a subscription with a usenet provider that has 3 years retention is relatively cheap, but when I did have an account with a usenet service, I never found anything that I wanted which wasn't also available via torrent or file sharing links. The only perk of using usenet was that I could queue a ton of stuff and download them much faster than I could via torrent or file sharing links. But I also got really fucking sick of downloading headers all the time, which would take forever for new newsgroups.
With file sharing links and torrent, it's all free (which, incidentally, is why I am ok with the torrent posts here). With a commercial usenet provider, I'd be paying at least $10 per month, and that's not including the cost of a decent binary newsgroup reader (of course, one can always find a cracked version....). And oh, downloading the fucking headers....(I hope there are better binary readers now...). I also can't count the number of asshole usenet posters who never bothered to post screen caps....anyways....
I mean...I get it. In the post-megaupload/filesonic age and US ISP tracking of torrent piracy, usenet remains (for now) a great alternative for sharing porn as the age of an internet being securitized and militarized in the name of copyright regimes dawns on us.
But....since I don't have a usenet subscription, I've just been skipping your posts. It's not a big deal, but....I'd rather not have to wade through them. Sorry.
First of all, usenetserver is not free. They have a -free trial-. Most commercial usenet servers have free trials. Most of them bill you in advance and refund your credit card if you decide to cancel before the trial date runs out (I think some accept paypal, for those who don't like spreading their CC numbers online). Now, I am not knocking usetnetserver. I used them before (when I was still a usenet junkie), liked them so much I went with their quarterly billing plan, and I still get emails from them about their 'latest deal.'
Second, I know you won't need to download headers if you use nzb's. But I am not a newbie. If I get a usenet server subscription again, I am not going to be using nzb's. No sir, I will subscribe to all the porn/warez/zerodaymovies groups I can remember (and then some) and I -will- be downloading headers from all these groups so I can leech as much shit as I can. My ISP does have something like a monthly 'soft cap' on bandwidth, but fuck them. However, this is my problem and no one else'.....on the other hand...
....Third, free usenet servers....I haven't tried 'UsenetStorm', so maybe it really is different from all the 'free' usenet servers I've used before--yes, I also spent a long time hunting and playing around with those before I eventually caved in and went with commercial usenet servers. Most of the 'free' usenet servers were commercial ones going through public beta testing. So either retention and completion were utter jokes (it just now occurred to me that I haven't used a par file in ages, because almost no one uploads them in forums like these....), or the speed was as slow as shit. And because they were in testing, they'd go down a lot. Of course, once they became truly viable, it meant they were ready to go commercial and start charging $. I've even used some compromised edu usenet servers, back in the day, before they secured the loopholes (or simply got rid of them altogether). But as I said, I haven't tried 'UsenetStorm' (and maybe I should before something happens to it...).
I am not knocking usenet, mind you. Anyone who doesn't mind dishing out a mere $10 per month should definitely give it a try. If you've never downloaded binaries from usenet, the first time you type 'lesbian' into the search button of your usenet binaries reader and see the results, and finish download the headers for those newsgroups--it's like a little kid going into a candy store. Most commercial newsservers generally offer excellent speed. The chokepoint will be your ISP, and not them.
But for me, it got old. I started to get more and more picky about the kind of 'lesbian' stuff I wanted to see--and ironically, the stuff I 'kept' from what I was downloading from usenet were all in forums like akiba. So now I am here, and I have no usenet server subscriptions. Anyways, back on topic, I don't feel fjcruiser is 'hijacking' this thread. I wouldn't use that word. It is true that slimedog is on an extended hiatus, and others have contributed to this--the best--thread to keep it alive. At the very least, that is what fjcruiser is doing. But I personally.....skip them. No offense intended.
Yeah, i wouldn't argue, some FA-Pro movies got awesome girl-on-girl scenes in 'em (even though i'm not into toys and stuff) but it's just awfully depressing if you download like 4 movies in a row (NO offense to FJCruiser, he's great for posting all of those jav's but i downloaded most of the stuff that he uploaded) and in all of 'em is 1 scene with a guy for like 10-30 minutes straight in it (in the middle or at the the end) or as in FAX-209 where in 3 out of 4 scenes is a guy included... girl-on-girl?
