First off, let's all give thanks (and reputation-adds) to the trio of new posters -- loveGIANT, Otrora & savajex for the posts and fresh energy they've brought to this thread and subject matter. fjcruiser and moxy, too, over in the P2P section.
And, of course, SamKook for his efforts, advice and answers everywhere.
Secondly, has anybody else noticed that when downloading Hotfile links, it's actually faster to NOT use turboleech?
Right now, I'm d'ling three of savajex's HF links for AUKG-091. Here are the speeds coming through:
Using turboleech, 249-252kbps.
Using premiumlink, 262kbps.
Using regular free-user HF, 320kbps.
Of course, using the leechers AND the free-user option let's you parallel-download (in my case) three links at the same time, so this ain't a big complaint. And HF links, like Netload's, always seem to be available on turboleech while links of nearly all of the other hosts seem to always be unavailable due to too many users.
And while I think there's a snowball's chance in Hell of it happening, who knows, maybe JPTOr will re-consider his business-model during his break?
