Well, I have a question, since I cannot use ryushare for either downloading or uploading, how can I contribute? I have a few videos I'd like to upload but it seems torrents are the only option, right?

It's not a rule. Outside of collection thread, you'd have to post in the same thread as the other one with the ryushare links so it's not a problem then.
It would be a nice thing to do though since a lot of the members will prefer them.

You can upload torrent, to usenet, any p2p software or to ddl if there's already ryushare links for the movies you want to upload.
You could also try to find someone who could upload to ryushare for you or you can rent a remote server that you would upload to and then use the remote upload feature of ryushare to upload the files to it.

If none of the above will work for you, then you can go on the IRC channel and see if you can make some kind of deal with the mods, but there's no guarantee at all on that.
