@datfay1 Whisper is a neural network model developed by OpenAI that can transcribe audio into text and translate it into English from Japanese, I also used it to translate Korean into English it's multi-language

I personalty like to use SubtitleEdit for translation it's a free app within that I lean toward Purfview Faster Whisper XXL and I commented on the tutorial preffering GUI over cmd line ut either can be used

I use standard whisper, any idea whether faster-whisper results are better, worse or about the same? Since they use hte same models I'd expect similar results, but I'd like to be sure. I can't speak for accuracy, but I assume it will be faster? Using RTX 3050 with 8GB vram and the large-v2...
