Admittedly that's a bit of reading between the lines on my part. Urabukkake said she has made her last movie for them and Milky Cat also said this was her last movie for them, too. Ai has been with both of them for a few years now. I suppose it's possible she'll pop up at another studio, but it does seem odd to make her most hardcore film after this time with them and then leave.

I'm not exactly certain how bukkake or gokkun started (MilkyCat seems to have played a part in the 1990s), but facials have been popular in porn for a long time; long before the Japanese started doing bukkake videos. US porn has always put a focus onto the "money shot." The makings for bukkake were always there. Perhaps the censorship was part of the impetus to form a new genre based entirely on cumshots, but it surely has role or purpose any more.

So yes, there would be bukkake and gokkun without censorship. Urabukkake proves this, and the US industry has many of their own lines of bukkake and gokkun porn that are completely uncensored, as does Germany, France, & Spain. The question of whether censorship was an impetus for the genre isn't exactly a closed case. Anyway, censorship was never a requirement for making cumshot-focused porn anyway. Censorship has and always will be a blight on the porn industry of Japan. It's one of their biggest blunders, not only because it is illogical and annoying. It's hurting their profit margins as well due to decreased lack of sales. There are thousands of people that would undoubtedly care about Japanese porn (I've personally talked with hundreds) if it were not for the pixellated pussies and dicks. There's a global economy, and the Japanese, through their censorship, are basically rendering their own porn inferior and reducing their international sales. Don't get me wrong; pixellation IS HORRIBLE!!!! JAV would be better without it.

I do not think that sales are hurt that much because I focus on the girl and not just the genitals. I like jav because of the beautiful girls and the fantasy situations of sex they are in. If you find a girl attractive you get her movie.

I agree with you in that I prefer JAV over western porn almost always. The thing is though the major reason more westerners are not into JAV is because the first thing they notice is the pixellated naughty parts and they automatically go look for something else. So to suggest that JAVs need to cater to the west to get more money seems strange to me, especially considering that the porn industry in the west is dying, if not already dead.

Amateurs are destroying the porn industry in the west and I think that says all that needs to be said about the low quality of "professional" western porn. JAV is just superior, despite being censored, or perhaps partly because they have to compensate for censorship. Take away one unique aspect of JAV, and you might take away other unique aspects of JAV too. JAV is JAV, I think it's better to just accept that, or just watch go western porn instead.

You didn't really disagree with me on anything. We both dislike censorship, agree JAV would be better without it, and we both admit that sales are hurt by censorship. The degree to which the sales are hurt is another separately related matter, of course. Also, "I focus on the girl and not just the genitals." Women have genitals too, and they also interact with male genitals. All of which is censored.

Also this isn't really a discussion about whether Japanese porn is generally overall superior or inferior to "western" porn. In the single aspect of censorship, though, western porn is the obvious winner. There's no necessity for censorship, and there's no logic to it. You lose nothing by removing censorship and you gain so much, economically and visually.

Pikuseru, no one said Japanese porn needs to cater to the west. What was said is that the Japanese porn industry is losing the chance at more money because of pixelation. People from countries that do not institute such illogical and annoying practices find pixellation and censorship to be annoying quite often, and choose to watch something that doesn't needlessly pixelate genitalia. From a business perspective, if you're aiming to increase profits it would be smart to increase your customer base where applicable.
Assuming what you said about the "porn industry in the west is dying", that is even more of a reason to have uncensored porn in Japan. Western consumers of porn would then shift their money over to the Japanese industry. Unfortunately, many thousands of westerners don't care about JAV because it is inferior in the one single aspect of censorship; and that's a big aspect, not a minor one.
What's strange is unnecessarily and illogically pixelating human genitalia in videos and photos, thereby alienating potential consumers, reducing potential profits, and permanently rendering the content inferior to what it could have been.

Remember, the topic was about censorship, not about which industry has better women, better filming styles, better porn. There's really no logical or rational reason to support censorship in porn.

Removing censorship would have nothing but positive effects for everyone involved. I think the only people that would be upset by it would be the illogical people that originally instituted such a violation of freedom of expression.

I agree. A lot of us on this board obviously have a high opinion of JAV, but the same is not true in general. I personally don't understand not watching JAV only because of censorship, even though I prefer without. There are a lot outside this board who don't feel the same and that's where business can do better.

I have a few vids with that Takahashi Miku girl, she's looks irresistible on the covers but her performance never stood out to me. Maybe watching her do gokkun will change my mind.

As for favorite gokkun loli, that's a bit of a difficult question as most lolis seem to do a full-on gokkun movie only once. Maybe its too much for their weak little stomachs. Kind hard to consider them a gokkun actress unless they churn out a lot of gokkun videos like Mika Osawa or Maki Hoshikawa (non lolis). I can only think of Rina Hatsume (Rin Momoi) and Yuira Hidaka that do gokkun on a regular basis.

Anyway, with that said a relatively new one that totally blew me away recently is Mitsu Sato in KV-158. Her skills and cuteness are top notch.
