Thank you very much for your thoughtful contribution, Codegeek.
Now let's get ready for...
Uninspired Regular Porn Potpourri
I haven’t seen any of what’s below; many are recent, and of the uncensored variety, which usually translates to, Hey, we’re giving you unobstructed views of genitalia, what more do you want? In other words, some of the most unimaginative JAV possible (although I have been seeing examples now and then where the uncensored type makes more of an effort; what’s below appears to be excluded).
The reason why I was moved to offer these yawners (in fairness, such films are produced in droves, so many viewers must find them exciting; you may be among them. I mean, they do feature bare naked ladies, and that’s all many undiscriminating porn-heads need, God bless them) is because they come from a streaming source rarely referred to in these parts. I discovered a bunch together, and thought I’d pass them along.
Hey, what’s that I see in the street? Looks like… a soapbox? Man, I can’t resist this strange compulsion to step on it…
Have you noticed how much sleazier the Internet is becoming? (This has been happening for a while, but it’s worse.) The porn site that features these… mind you, they don’t own these movies, they are ripping them off, so they have no right to profit off of them, really… well, okay, they are making the effort to make them available so fellow crooks (that would be us) can rip them off... as a result, we can’t expect them to do this out of the goodness of their hearts (you know… “file sharing”), and they’ve got to have some incentive, right?
In the past, however, you would have only one hoop to jump through, maybe two. Now it’s out of control. They throw in whatever they can get away with, to earn extra pennies per click. First you’ve got the “Shorte.st” (“Shorten urls and earn money“). Then you’ve got the “Allanalpass” (has the audacity to re-size your window; I’m not mentioning any pop-ups, mind you, that’s to be expected), leading to “Linkbucks,” and their useless five-second wait. Let’s not neglect to add the extra clicks required to deal with the “Are you sure you want to leave this page?” messages. Leave this page?? I never wanted to get on your freakin’ page..!)
Finally we get to the stream site, in this case “Firedrive.” (I think they used to be Putlocker, which is banned around here.) You can see they load all kinds of crapola (if you keep an eye on the bottom bar while the page is loading), Facebook, Twitter, Adsupply this, Promoter that… I use the “NoScript” Add-on for Firefox to filter out this junk. But now they’ve tweaked their operation to the point that the stream doesn’t show up, even when I “temporarily allow everything.”
Which means I need to go to my unfiltered browser which I use only when I have to – Google Chrome. (Google. Or: Got-you-by-the-balls Google. Grrr!)
Which brings me to another disturbing sign of the times. I caught the movie, “The Internship,” sounded like fun. Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn, that contemporary Laurel and Hardy, chuckle-chuckle. You know in the past how a movie would feature a breakfast cereal box in full view for a minute, within a scene in the kitchen? That’s “product placement,” it’s been around for years, and okay; we can tolerate the crass commercialism temporarily. This is how movie producers cut down on their budgets, getting something in return. Well, “The Internship,” took it six thousand steps farther, the whole movie was a product placement for Google. This was… appalling!
You see it everywhere now. Remember how YouTube allowed you to watch the videos in an unrestricted fashion..? Since Google (you know, of the “do no evil” commandment fame) picked up YouTube, you now usually need to endure a commercial – before watching the time-wasting video.
“Anything to make a buck” is a motto companies have lived by for a long time, but now there is no thought as to what the user needs to go through. Decency! There is no decency, I tell you.
For example, right here there is no decency. Why did you need to go through all of that, when all you’re interested in is picking up some old-fashioned porn? Okay, I’ll get off my soapbox now. (I like standing on the soapbox. Makes me feel taller.)
Firedrive allows for a stream download (you may need to use an up-to-date “cooperative” browser such as Chrome to get past their “Preparing file” page … I checked two other browser options and they could not get past the site’s sleazy hurdles) – click on the arrow on the screen, the one to the right (and not the “Continue to Video” window), and keep closing the irrelevant pop-ups. The movie should play, and hopefully your stream downloading program will pick it up. (“Orbit” is one that works.) They also have a direct download option at the top of the page: click on the three asterisks to the left of “Log in,” and the “Download” button will appear. Often you won’t get the advantage of the “streamed-down” size of a stream download, for what is to follow…. Usually, the sizes will not be that far off from the direct download versions.
