@To SamCook : 100MB limitation upload for free registered users only ,not for downloaders ,the limitation can be choosed by the uploaders in their account setting.
@To pocs : 40B is the middle and good enough for all ,how can you view 40gb total of videos daily .
@To islander_Larc : We're not in any team ,we are uploaders,too.
@To C00Lzero : as We said already ,we are provding free 30 days trial for uploaders here,if you'd like to try with us,feel free to contact me.The maximium filesize can be uploaded by premium users is 5GB ,easier for your works.
@sabai : if you got a trouble with purchasing ,please contact me ,I can help you .
@To javcitizen : sometime need up to 60 minutes for the system can recognize your account info and you can upload via FTP.

Im sorry about the storage for free ,but it's free ,we cant provide more .You can compare our free storage with others and can see it's still big.

I know, downloaders don't have to select all the links one by one and possibly reorder them before posting, uploaders do and they're the ones attracting new business.

I would be less pissed off if it were a limit for downloaders since I could do premium only links and use a better host for the free users.

Compared to the previous sponsors of this forum, it's much smaller. Ryushare has 900GB and Keep2share has a minimum of 300 or 400GB(I'm at 705GB now so I don't remember the exact number) and it grows up depending on how much new business and uploader brings them. All this for free users.
It's not like we can choose to use a different host here.
I would have thought that attracting new customers would be enough to warrant more storage space, even for free users since they have the same potential to bring new business as premium users.

You say you want to provide a good service for both uploaders and downloaders, but it's absolutely horrible for uploaders as it is. In one month(or even sooner if I get tired of having to deal with links manually), it looks like I'll have to switch to torrents or usenet if things won't change.

hhmm, One HD movie is about 7GB per movie. It is only about 6 movies. Don't you think that watching 6 movie a days is just so common nowadays.

That's assuming you don't grab bluray ISO which can be well over 20GB. In that case, you wouldn't even be able to download your second movie of the day. So yeah, it can be really easy to view over 40GB of video a day.

This is very annoying! Yet another damn file host that doesn't support JDownloader!! :(
They're probably putting most of their effort towards jdownloader2 which would explain why new host often lack support.

Excuse me Mr. but how many filehosts should the Akiba-online users change in one year? It's not my intention to argue with you about your choice but I find quite remarkable the fact to make a subscribtion to a filehosts premium-account and after a while that gets useless (at least here)...

lmao another fucking host change
1gb a day and 100kb for free what a joke. How hard did Akiba shill for this one. Out of no where and everyone is saying 'looks good?" After licking K2S sack for how long after complaints then switch up with no notice.

So I guess these promotions are literally promotions. This will change my buying habits greatly since I see Akiba is about as committed to anything as an escort.

Oh my.. I've chosen SUBYSHARE.co cause it's not mainstream, therefore, might stray away a little from that stopfilelockers group (it's paygates won't be targeted as much as k2s). But seeing it used here in akiba, made me worried. The "rats" in here now see a fresh cheeze to bite on. At lease don't use SUBYSHARE to upload JI stuff... it might live out a bit longer.
Anything Akiba using is going to get popular especially if other JAV sites are stupid enough to jump on see ryushare from shady asian site people overlooked to central hub of JAV in less than a year.

You can also get 2GB and 500kb for free if you simply register a free account, it's better than the previous 2 sponsor. It's not a lot of bandwidth per day(even the 40GB for premium user isn't), but the speed is good.

At least they changed the storage limit for free accounts to 500GB and the max file size to 1GB so uploaders aren't forced to have a premium account anymore.

I was just getting used to k2s/fboom. Fortunately there are many other forums where I can still use my premium to download.

Subyshare ?!? Ah well, it depends on what everybody here is going to do, but even if all the die-hard uploaders start using subyshit, then this is still the only forum where you can use it do download. Will see how it goes, but I won't buy subyshit premium for the time being.

I actually find this sudden change from ks2/fboom to subyshit anti-social behavior. Many users bought a k2s and fboom account and that is on this forum completely useless from now on. And my latest uploads on fboom can't be posted here anymore.

Why not an announcement that k2s/fboom will no longer be allowed from for instance January 1 2015 and then go over to another hoster while accepting that new hoster already. But Subyshit? Is there really nothing else out there...

I'm just annoyed were were encouraged to get keep2share all complaining was ignored and they pretended there would be some longevity to the promotion.

People kept complaining about k2s/fboom which said they would fix things but never did, so the only way to have something better is to change host, there's no other magical solution.
I don't know where you got the impression there would be some longevity to the promotion, I didn't see anything that would suggest it.

I'm sure akiba's staff would prefer to stick with the same host, but if things don't work, they don't have much of a choice and with the unstable nature of all ddl hosts, there's not much that can be done to guarantee things will last.
There's also not a ton of hosts prepared to sponsor a forum with such content as this one so they use the best they can get.

This host change is also a giant pain in my ass since I can't automate my uploads with it, but I'm sure it couldn't be helped.

I cannot believe suddenly keep2share was so good judging by the above comments, everyday I kept getting messages about how bad k2s is,

we only change sponsors, when the previous one drops out, we hope subyshare is a long term sponsor

IMO.. subyshare.co as main isn't a bad thing, so long as there are mirrors. and they don't get used for u15.

subyshare.co could stay for the sponsorship, downloaders could always choose to buy whichever filehost they want, and with this, uploaders then post with subyshare with mirrors that gather enough profits. If the paygates are attacked, the payment stops, then uploading to that filehost cease as well. You could always enjoy the free downloads from subyshare just by registering a free account, in the long run. :)

Somehow I don't understand this. Did they say they offer uploads via FTP? Or maybe I read something wrong. But if it is the case you surely can automate your uploads. :)
