I just received an email from tmas3

"I'm just as shocked as all of you that I was banned. I logged in this morning and was greeted with the message...

"You have been banned for the following reason: Spam. Please contact the administrator if this was done in error."

Obviously I have not been posting spam, so this must be some kind of mistake. I tried contacting the admin and mods about this, but haven't heard back from them yet.

I appreciate everyone's concern. Please contact the mods on my behalf and see if they will look into restoring my account. I would be devastated if my account and posts can't be restored

Your posts won't be restored. The same thing happened to me, I lost all posts since 2007.
A bot does the auto banning. It usually is triggered when you post something that shouldn't be (such as cashlinks).

I made an attempt to improve the organization of the jav torrent section. I posted for weeks in advance about what I wanted to try. I even called a mods attention to my proposal. Silly me. I tried it and got banned. I lost probably 1000 or more torrent posts. Cool Kevin was really good about it and restored a couple of months worth. I went back to posting for a while but the general feeling I had wasn't good so I quit. I feel very bad for tmas3. He put up a lot of valuable stuff. I hope when he comes back he won't lose enthusiasm as I did!

More reasons this forum is a joke, can't self-delete own posts or threads, can't delete own account, can't delete conversations, can't easily set granular controls for notifications, only allowing crap filejoker links in the download area, now letting a bot delete one of your own better contributors without any sort of confirmation or input needed from the admins for it.. pfft, fuck this place.

it really depends on the forum's backend architecture. The previous incarnations was worse imo....

the reasons why cannot delete titles, was because trusted members and exclusive uploaders (those in blue) abused it and done some serious damage, even now we are still finding masses of gaps in older posts, you can edit your own posts, but some times even those get abused, you may have noticed sometimes there is an odd reply to a question, until you look at the original question you get to understand it

Turns out my release threads weren't being posted in an acceptable format, which resulted in the ban. Lucky for me, CoolKevin lives up to his name and restored my account. Work is also being done to restore the release posts (in progress). I will need to update each thread to include all the necessary info, so it will take some time before everything is restored.

An image was posted last night, that got me through those dark hours while I was banned...

Seemingly Imari Morihoshi is lesser known than Suzu Ichinose, and seemingly more or less faded into the sunset of group and orgy type titles. It doesn't seem like anything of hers has come out recently. Even so, she does have a few titles that aren't bad considering her career hides in the shadow of her sister's.
