What I should have done instead is explain that the amount of content already produced is so vast that any changes to the industry will ultimately not effect their ability to enjoy JAV and that the only people effected are producers and performers. Do you by any chance still live with your parents? Second of all, doing porn fucks up your life because if people find out they will; A) most likely not want to date you, B) not want you associated with their company and C) will make negetive assumptions about your character forever.

Here, in Canada, 18 has been the legal age for as long as I can remember and it's not worse than anywhere else in the world as far as I know so that's probably why I don't see any issue with it. I'm actually surprised it was that high in japan since the age of consent is 13.

Maturity depends a lot on the personality of the person so it's pretty much impossible to set an age that will work for everyone. There are some 40+ years old people that I wouldn't trust to not make stupid mistakes and I know 12-13 years old with perfect work ethics already(but that's obviously too young for something like this, I'm not implying it would be fine).

Neither sex nor porn is inherently evil and I'm actually thrilled you took the conversation here so I can make the disticiton between what works and what is too far. Sex is not bad and enjoying sex simply for pleasure is not bad either. However, sex has been devalued in modern days through unhealthy attitudes and over indugence. People don't know the impact over indulging in sex can potentially have on themself, even when done with their partner. I don't mean having TOO much sex, I mean always trying to elevate the sex by taking it to new places and doing new things as fast as possible, causing burn out and making it so they can't actually enjoy anything that isn't hardcore. The normalization of this has negetively impacted many and I suspect more than it has helped (though I will conceed it has helped people). A healthy attitude would be to simply enjoy your partner until sex becomes dull and one partner needs something more, at which point, through exploring new things slowly they can get more enjoyment out of their sex life. The reality is people set their boundries from the start and take sex to the very limit immediately and I believe porn contributes to this mentality.

Porn is not bad and enjoying porn isn't bad either. However, porn is oversaturated through overproduction. Ideally, porn should only hire women who are talented at what they do and while that would mean the vast majority of performers would be in their late 20's and older, I don't see that as an issue. As someone who likes junior idols, I can tell you that outcome wouldn't bother me in the slightest. Instead we just get any girl who is willing and the focus of porn shifts from the girls performance to taboo themes and hardcore acts over and over until it has over anything vanilla. I don't mind taboo themes or hardcore acts either. I like them both when I'm in the mood for them but I would say we are at the point when a lot of porn is masocist themed while starting girls clearly not into masochism. If you agree with there being an prevelent issue of miscasting and over recruiting in porn then you have to understand that it's not just the attitude of the companies that has caused this. The companies will always try to make the most money, not just for the greed of it, but to beat out their competition. This falls into the hands of the consumers. So I address the consumers and question their attitude.

The only thing that is evil, are the people who want to see women endure torture (specifically girls not into it) so they can get off. It's the same as watching clips of people paying to beat up homeless people.
