Once one is older and more experienced with women, one will be less picky.

Well, I believe it depends on whether own's beauty is moderate or pretty. If you are moderate-looking, as an adult, you will eventually settle for a partner who is also of moderate beauty because you will realize that you can't reach certain levels.

While I understand that the numbers will back that up, it's hardly an absolute. It's easy to punch above your weight if you have any combination of intelligence, empathy, stability, conversational ability, charm, uniqueness, good humor or (ugh) wealth.

Settling is... ahhh... settling.
