Ya'Know, when it comes to Japan, I have two general ideas about the stuff they make.

The first, is that I wish to move there because it would be so much easier than importing everything (I know that 80 percent of what id want to import wouldn't be allowed) back to the states.
So US customs would confiscate 18+ stuffs too? I thought with US having porn industry too, they will be more lenient.

When did I ever imply that I reside in America ? You do realise that there's a whole world out there.

My ISP doesn't give a shit about what I download, nor do they care HOW MUCH I download. I average 3TB a month. I would only really purchase hard drives for my entertainment, so a hundred bucks lost is equal to 6TB, or around 3 thousand or so JAV titles.

in high speed internet era soft copies are more favorable, except for die hard fans and collectors

more and more people prefer to spend their money for high speed internet and big capacity data storage

For DMM, I think no. The dvd page is inaccessible from ip address outside japan. R18 is the international version of DMM website, they don't sell DVD as far as I know.

----

Btw, is there someone here in Japan that can help buying JAV DVD?

Ok..another question if anyone is familiar with DMM purchase. If I change my ISP to another country code, can I purchase stream on DMM versus hardcopy dvd? Maybe just download the movie on my hard drive?

I'm not entirely sure what your question is, but most JAVs that are available digitally on DMM can be purchased for streaming and download internationally. Certain ISPs may block access to the website, I suppose, but in general there shouldn't be a problem.

It is a bit annoying with DMM. But I can completely understand they need to try and control the distribution after it is sold.
