Hasumi Kurea retired in June and deleted her twitter at the end of the month. A couple weeks before she'd twitted she'd reached her mental and physical limits, and was doing to do some introspection... There are still films coming out because it takes at least a couple months to release...

Who retired and deleted her Twitter account? Because I don't think you meant Kurea.

As for Hasumi Kurea, I'm not sure about her current situation, but I do know she left Five Promotion (subsidiary of Marks Japan) after the Fujiwara Hitomi scandal and tweeted she was now attached to an agency with apparently no track record (I took a look at their twitter and they only had like a couple twits, welcoming Kurea, and I don't even remember them having a webpage). It looked to me like she was trying to establish her own agency, it doesn't take much more than some connections and phone numbers, an office and a guy who can double as desk and babysitter manager. So that'd explain the drop in production.

Edit Found it, Kurea announces she's now managed by gmintpro http://blog.livedoor.jp/kurea_hasumi/archives/48980943.html
She attached in July, so the videos for the first gigs under that agency should begin their release shortly. We'll have to wait and see if she did manage to snatch some contracts.

The agency "webpage" is a blog with two entries to welcome her and explain the whereabouts of the incorporation: they were going to manage a retired actress considering her comeback who later hit the brakes, and they got in touch with Kurea at the time she was looking where to go after Five Promotion. This looks like either Kurea trying to start her business (and making up this little story to hide it's her), or 1 guy with some connections and experience. It's stated in the blog that they are looking for actresses. It seems so modest I find it interesting, I'll keep an eye on their activity because it could bring some insights into how that world works, and I wonder if that could scale or if they could land a future star. I was surprised to discover that Tsubomi (whose weight in the industry is well-known) is attached to Vanquish Pro, which judging from their online presence (a couple outdated blogs) is a small agency with just a handful of actresses. I read somewhere talent agencies have between 7:3 (for regular actors, announcers, etc.) and 5:5 staff to talent ratios, so that'd mean the agency is at most a dozen ppl and they form a little family of sorts, worlds apart from the (defunct?) Marks Japan or T-powers many actresses flew to.

I'm not surprise if Kurea Hasumi get retire and make immediate comeback use different stage name

the interesting part is that scandal has made significant impact on AV actresses and agency relationship, based on your report some top girls is changing their agency to new or less known, and the next few months more might do the same, it could mean the top agencies will lost their well know girls

I hope this will give better effect to JAV industry, sometimes ago I had read Shizuka Kanno's reason when she get retired was becaused she feel dissapointed with the industry, if this true maybe other retired actresses also have the same reason, and if they know that now they can get better agency maybe they will make a comeback

So, uh, Ayumi Shinoda's Twitter, Facebook and Blog are all gone, so is she done with AV or what?
I almost never watch her solo work (except the uncensored vids), so I can't say I'm very sad about her retirement. She's been working many years, and she went and made several uncensored vids, it's not a big surprise, a small disappointment maybe, but not sad nor surprised.

But I get a very bad feeling about the way the event develops. If she's retiring, she deserves a major fanfare 2-disc retirement commemorative box set.

If she retires by deleting her social media accounts and disappearing from view, we are left to imagine the worst. This is very bad for JAV. She doesn't give me major hard-on, but I respect her, very deeply, as a human and as a professional.

Ever since the Fujiwara Hitomi "scandal" I have been calm and sanguine, but if you string up all the developments, esp. this Shinoda accounts wiping ... maybe JAV has really entered a nuclear winter?

agree

after her long career in AV (I guess more than 80 non compilation videos) and she already done almost anything, we know it will come, so her retirement is not a surprised just a dissapointment

yes it could be

as we know a lot of videos has been cancelled before release and some older videos also has been pulled out from the market, database has been deleted from DMM and studio's official websites

My dream vid is her finally doing a fellatio-only video, like Tsubomi, Aki Sasaki, Aki Kawana and Natsuki Minami have done this year. Preferably a REAL Works Demon Fellatio video with Aki Sasaki. That would be epic!! :aghh:

dislike blowjob only videos, so its not in my wishlist

but her duet with Aki Sasaki (if not BJ only) would be awesome, something I would watch

Back in June she announced she was retiring so it finally happened

yup, I think she really get retired already :(

thx for the info. personally, even though she starred in some great (fake) nakadashi titles, she never did reach her porn limits, to me. Not with that unbelievable peach ass of hers. never did an anal sex scene even though she came across as horny and unabashed as hell in many of her vidz.

look fwd to any updates. TIA.

Sad year, first Anri Okita and now Ayumi Shinoda retires :(

sad indeed. But I guess I could see Ayumi-chan's coming, as she really toned down her choice of roles and performances the past year-plus. i don't think i've collected any of them. but she was sure the rage in 2014 and most of 2015.

BTW, when I was on Twitter in 2014 and 2015, Ayumi was super-engaged as far as responding to tweets and compliments. Made her near and dear to my heart. Also, during 2015 she took a trip to the Czech Republic and I thought that meant we were going to see her in a no-holes-barred performance for LegalPorno. Sadly, that never materialized.

Two actresses that really have caught my permanent fancy are Akemi Horiuchi and Miyu Kotohira. Akemi's most recent solo work was a really hot one IMHO, NACR-064 for a label I wasn't familiar with, planetplus.jp. But other than compilations I don't see anything new from or with her. Anyone have any info? I never did find a twitter account, or even an agency.

The same with Miyu Kotohira, a real stunner to me, with unusual beauty. She did one of the Netorare vids for Takara (NTRD-027) that was really hot. I love that gal but, as with Akemi, have never found her twitter, blog or agency sites.

If anyone has info on whether Akemi and Miyu are still active, and/or where to get more info, pls share. TIA.

Anri Okita
Ai Uehara
KAHO KASUMI
...and now my favorite Ayumi...

Well, at the very least this will help me break this habit

i know. i feel i am already teetering on the brink. only a couple handfuls of favorites are keeping me hanging on. but if they go, it'll probably be 23 skidoo for me too.

I guess Ayumi was really training Aki to be her successor. She did do a fantastic job to be fair. She's easily the best right now.

A lot of my favorites (Miki Sunohara, Akari Hoshino, Chigusa Hara, Megumi Shino, Chitose Saegusa, Yuu Shinoda, Nozomi Hatsuki, Sara Saijo, Riku Minato, Shiori Kamisaki, Yuria Satomi, Yui Hatano) just aren't making enough quality work for me to check for things as frequently as I used to.

This Ayumi thing is a blow to the gut.
