Yukiko and soari was in sex and zen. Forbidden was serina, kaera, and hikaru wakana. Akiho, sora, Anri Okita, and Jessica appears in modern Hong Kong movies in the recent years. Yui hatano and Maria Ozawa was in a Tawianese one. A lot of other film for korea too like aino, rio, yuria, sora, mihiro, and more. Yeah, there are so many mainstream or B-movies in Asia feature Av actresses in small and big roles.

and Yui Tatsumi was a guess star in Thailand movie
 
Anyone know why ryo kanami left? She looks kinda mix with similar facial feature as early tina yuzuki and yuria haga. Very short career and she didnt appear in anything else besides av. Iroha isn't as popular as when she was sarasa during her time at ideapocket too by filming those soft f***rced sex for attackers instead of going extreme hardcore.

We can't forget the most prolific ex-JAV actress Rena Murakami. After her JAV days she went on to Hong Kong movie fame and starred in several including Sex and Zen. She was very well known by her Chinese audience.

The VHS era. Back then Hong Kong like Japan are film with pink movies like flower and snake. Nowadays are direct to DVD low budget ones featuring av stars.

Maybe she was cast out. Some av stars retire because studios drop them in order to promote new debuts. The same thing with graduated gravure idols. Marica Hase went to America because of that. Unless you're young or one of the top sellers like akiho, it's hard to compete with ex-idols like shoko and yua mikami. A lot of av stars manage to find mainstream opportunities like sora aoi instead of fading away after retirement. Some might become stripper/prostit or someone's mistress to continue enjoy a luxurious lifestyle. I thought there was news about Yua Aida too, but there's also a part of me that don't want to know because it might ruin our image of her if she aged horribly. I remember Kaera Uehara used to strip in clubs in Macau or Taiwan too. Yui Hatano and Anri Okita been getting a lot of offers from Asian countries outside of Japan. A few wrote a memoir like risa coda, mihiro, and few others that talks about transitions and drug abuses. I suppose Chinese and Japanese forums would know a lot more x info than us since I see a lot of av stars shows up at Asian news/gossip websites, variety shows, and web videos, but I don't understand any of them. Also, I see a lot of av idols movies get subbed in Chinese very often.
