In the case I would share something like a scene or excerpt, but most people here either buy, download, or torrent videos. There are plenty on video streaming sites, though.

Then generally speaking, It would be "ethical" not to do so, unless the movie in question is long out-of-print, unavailable digitally, and/or has no one owning it's license?
That is, for the sake of preserving something that would otherwise be lost?
Just because the movie may not be available digitally, the license may still be 'owned' by someone.
I mean theoretically going by your avatar if it's going to be some hyper obscure muscular woman title from 2001 from a studio whose entire content can only be purchased as used DVD's and tapes, then yea, the copyright holder probably is not going to know and maybe not even care. YMMV and I still would highly not recommend doing it.

Why not just do what you want and see if A. The site you post things on allows it and B. If anyone will use the links to view them. Not sure how to track that, though.
I wouldn't go so far as uploading whole movies, then. The alternative for me is just having a bit of fun remixing clips for montages or music videos.
It's not a priority for me anyway, and if doing so would still land me in hot water, then I wouldn't bother. I know similar stuff happens on YouTube with regular videos, but that's a separate matter, and JAV copyright may not be the same as TV or movie copyright. Even if there is no monetization for a porn streaming site user, I guess that's no excuse to risk it either.

Just upload it already, there's plently of full movis on there untouched, many rare JAV's movies with subtitles too
