What's your MMO addiction?

You could try out GuildWars.
It's free to play once you've got it, and you can make it to max level (20) in four days or less if you go at it.
The storyline is mission based and is well suited to short bursts of play, and the PvP is very active, so it's easy to get into.
It's easy to learn and hard to master, but it's not a game for everybody.
But it's well suited for casual and hard-core gamers alike.

It's also the most balanced PvP heavy game there is.

Makes one wonder why do people play MMOs' like WoW or Guild Wars. Massive players = massive escapism, maybe, the need to be connected, maybe, alternative reality for real-life loosers... Trifles.

WoW, although im having a break from it atm.

I accidently found the following MMORPG... It actually free at the moment (because it is being resurrected after dieing a horrible death)

http://www.ryzom.com/

The graphics are okay, but the charm of it, is that it actually complex and realistic to a certain degree.

There are no levels, and you can train in a number of different professions. The seasons change, mobs migrate from area to area, the market is completely (99%) player driven...

Overall, pretty sweet. :goodboy:

MMOs are for real life losers as much as porn is for pathetic nerds who could never talk to a real woman in his life.
Stereotype much?

Amusing. You didn't want to propose you're not just a MMO-porn-addict BUT a real-life-loser too, did you?
Super Man Enough?

You surprise me. No irritation, high resistance to provocation. Tell them they're intelligent, and they'll (be)leave you.
Kind to status quo ricochet. Boring.

No MMO addiction for me. Living in China means not only do I have to contend with a large number of government-blocks, but also sites blocking me because I'm "high risk" or something similar. If not that, then it's franchise games like Maple Story telling me I can only use the Chinese version :(

No MMO for me here. I used to play Guild Wars but moved onto other games and priorities anyway...

my games? :D

I played RO1 back when I was in high school.. I have also tried RF Online and Gunbound. ATM, I'm playing RO2 in 3 private servers and 1 official server. I'm gonna work soon so I don't know if I'll still be able play games.

:negligent:

I've played runescape, dark ages, gunbound, ragnarok online, wolfteam, WOW, el kardian, cabal online.. But I've since quit them all, they get addictive for a while, but eventually boring :negligent:

Well i have LaTale, WoW, Guild Wars. But srsly i dont play any of them that much. WoW is boring, GW is much better. I love LaTale though, even though its 2D, its fun to play that game. Ghost Online is nice too!! Eh

yeah, I was addicted to ro for long long time....now I play perfect world =)

PSU, Phantasy Star Universe... no storyline, no quests, but gameplay is way too addictive.

I heard about that monster play in lotro. Is it any good?
And enemy players in raids and such sounds fun.

If all you like is PVP I would try out lotro but don't expect it to rule your life. Game is mostly focused on story and PvE gaming. I am an addict to anything middle earth though so I love it.
