I don't think so. The ways studios compete in the USA are different than Japan. idk how laws and regulations goes because western girls are more rash and will revolt more often and I don't think most want to be lock in a restricting contract. Av idols in Japan are manage similar to regular idols as a lot of Asian fans recognize them as some sort of celebrity and will ask them to film gaming commercials and perform on stage for their companies. However, I think in the west pornstars are seen more negatively in the same regards as prostitutes rather than idols/goddesses to most of their fans as well. I don't think they're in to acting and in it purely for money, so all the idol responsibilities wouldn't be appealing to them and most fans doesn't really care. Despite America put world's #1 in everything, the adult industry are very limited to America since EU got their own porn industry. Japan on the other hand doesn't ignore other Asian countries and is kind of monopolizing the av industry since they're the only ones filming and distributing mainstream porn. Also, it helps that Taiwan, Hk, Korea, etc all have pop idols and the Nightlife in Taiwan and Macau is huge.
