I appreciate JAV videos for all of those things you say you hate:
*the sloppy wet kisses with lots of drooling
*the pairing of ugly/old men with beautiful women
*the fact that they are not afraid to get freaky. JAV pretty much has no boundaries, if you can think of fetish they have loads of it
*I love the "Fake r***" videos. Would never want to watch and much less r*** someone, I know actua r*** is very aggressive, disturbing and frequently ends up with the girl being murdered
I have one theory for why they like and so many people like me like seeing ugly/old guys paired with beautiful women: talk to any psychologist and they will tell you that, for some people, there's this attraction between the beautiful and the grotesque. I'll give an example: one of the most popular categories amongst Western porn is Granny. And by that I mean videos where young and attractive guys are banging 60-70 year old women.
I find that really absolutely disgusting but that's because I'm gay. I'm not disgusted by women at all but lesbian scenes and old women scenes are a major turnoff for me.
And having said that, my Jav idol is Yuji Yamada and I do think he has loads of fans. Because he is ugly, he looks like a complete perv and psycho in some of his scenes and the has more stamina than most young guys out there. But I would NEVER consider having sex with him. I'm not into grandpas. But I love his videos way more than any other.
Why? I have at theory aside from those examples I mentioned above: he.is.a.fucking.good.porn.actor. When he performs you really do believe that is real...it's not mechanic, it's passionate, it's perverse and he's always giving his all. I don't think people give JAV actors in general enough credit for that. They really are able to sell the fantasy.
While, in Western porn, there's no bigger turnoff than when the girl is sucking cocks and all of a sudden she starts looking directly to the camera and smiling while sucking. I'm sure many straight guys enjoy seeing that but it completely breaks the illusion for me...besides, when they do that, I start feeling that they are not taking that shit seriously.
Simply put: the acting, the story and the production values of the majority of JAV movies are much superior than vanilla Western porn. To me that's reason number 1 and a lot of people don't even stop to think about that. They give their all, always. And look at those old Henry Tsukamoto videos...they actually do have a story to tell, and the story is told very well and acted brilliantly. JAV completely ruined Western porn. I mean...you see one gangbang video and man, you've seen them all...they are all the same...they all follow a very rigid script and they overact. I'm pretty much done with it. I still like 70's porn though...those freaks were doing it for pleasure because they would barely get paid, if they would indeed get paid. There was no viagra back then, guys couldn't fake it and women were normal, no ginormous tits and plastic surgery. It was real people having real sex because they just wanted to do it, period. Once the 80's came it was all downhill from there.
