YAOI + SHOTA animation series

This topic normally isn´t discussed here at A-O, as far as I know there only has been 1 thread with a YAOI animation posted here at A-O yet (Enzai), nevertheless I´ll try to list the YAOI series I know in alphabetical order, independent whether they are animations only or ecchi or real hentai, but they are part of the animation / hentai history too...

I do not even know whether these are all series, in case there are more please feel free to add these in a new post.

Many of the YAOI animations mentioned in the 1st. post have been licensed in many countries, among these are companies like Kitty Media in the U.S. or Trimax in Germany, most titles have been subbed though, many of them by [aarinfantasy]. Lots of these subbed versions (english by [aarinfantasy] or chinese by [BL動畫]) can be found in eMule. There are some spanish subbed versions too.

attached are 4 covers of re-releases, which have been made last year under the courtesy of KSS / Pink Pineapple for bad teacher equation and Kizuna.

Seems as if even these titles are worth a re-release...

At least there have far more YAOI than YURI titles been released in hentai history...

There are titles in the list, like Ryokunohara Labyrinth that I watched recently, that are merely "shonen-ai" titles. Sometimes homosexual relations are only implied. Very few of them are truly 18+ titles (including sex with explicit shots).

At least Gravitation (OAV and TV) is also missing in the list. I'll check later in my own anime list since I marked the shonen-ai/yaoi titles.

Back to the topic, this is a list of anime that contains some amount of shonen-ai/yaoi. This is mostly based on the classification of world-art, and they are most of the time right.

I put these two separately as they are pioneer on their kind:

Natsu e no Tobira/La Porte à L'été (1981, Movie, Toei/Mad House, 60 mn) => this is THE pioneer of shonen-ai anime, bringing it to the public
Pataliro (1982, TV, Toei, 49 episodes) => pioneer TV series on shonen-ai, but I think it's done in a comedic way. The 1983 short movie and the 2005 remake must be on the same trend.

Very few titles offer yaoi with graphical sex. For me it's the Pico series, the Phoenix titles, and Enzai. And maybe the Primetime titles.

the whole day yesterday I looked for Kizuna: Much Ado About Nothing - Kizuna: Koi no kara Sawagi - KIZUNA ~恋のから騒ぎ, just to recognize today morning after your post that I have it as ep. 3 of KIZUNA in the wrong folder...

Although I checked all data with AniDB and ANN yesterday I picked the three eps from my HDD although there are 2 eps. only in the databases...

reg. Princess Princess - it´s just funny, but there are 3 princesses (although they are boys), not only one, who have to play "female" cheerleaders in that boys school...

now I´m running on Share, eMule, Perfect Dark and Utatane (without success in the last one though), but PD has not more old stuff than Share, as it seems, could be even less. I set some searches but no files to be found..

Not quite, the 1992 OAV is a separate item. There are three OVAs in total, Zetsuai 1989 (1992) , Bronze Cathexis Koji Nanjo (1994) , Bronze Zetsuai Since 1989 (1996). See also the covers attached :snicker:
