this time I have a little riddle for all of you. Surely all of you know Yuma Asami. And maybe a few of you have seen SOE-673.

DMM shows in one of the thumbnails the following scene. But it isn't in the actual movie. At least I haven't seen it in any of the automatically created thumbnails images on the Internet. Does someone know the reason? Is there a cut version? Or is it part of another movie of her? If this is the case, does someone of you know from which movie it is?

Hi Codegeek! My first reaction was, there have been plenty of times generated thumbnails miss particular scenes (i.e., thumbs do not always grab every single scene), and that may still prove to be the case. However, I have these ancient thumbs from a record I have made of the movie (I never downloaded it):



(... And amazingly, the thumbs were still operational. I tell ya, they are ancient.)

So what perplexed me was that the mystery scene was definitely represented as the second scene of the movie (after the beginning one that apparently shows masturbation), beginning around the sixteen-minute mark and ending around the thirty-seven. The telltale bed tells the tale.

What's bothersome is that in the thumbs, her hair is flatter, and she has her eyeglasses on only until the blowjob, and then the glasses come off before the BJ is over. Obviously, she did not put her glasses back on, once she moved on to the intercourse stage, so why the glasses in that DMM shot?

Part of the job, which I read from one behind-the-scenes story (and one that makes perfect sense) is that during the three hours it takes to shoot a JAV (okay, okay, sometimes the production may last a tiny bit longer), they actually find the time to squeeze in production stills. Well, that's actually for the cover and other special promotional needs, but during the shooting, while the sets are up and the costumes for the scenes are in place, a still photographer is almost certainly on hand to take snaps, for later publicity. I believe the stills that are employed in DMM (Asian Screens reproduces the same stills, but in larger fashion; yeah, I know you can click on each DMM thumb to get the large version as well, but the Asian Screens sets are much more convenient) are rarely frame blow-ups from the actual movie. (Sometimes you can see crappy-quality photos for older DMM titles, which are most likely frame blow-ups from the video.) They are real photographs that are taken professionally as the movie's shooting progresses. (That's why some of these DMM-Asian Screens promo photos can be so beautiful, and clear; the little photos we often see on the back covers, as illustrated above, are also often taken by a still camera, representing angles that are not exactly as they appear in the movie.)

So what probably happened, during a break in the shooting when there was a moment for the still photographer to do his thing (or her thing, if she is in a HUNTER movie, where the crew gets to sexually harass her), the actress was probably instructed to put her glasses back on, to make the picture more interesting. That would explain why her hair is a little more messed up, as well.

Naturally, it's possible once someone views the movie, that the intercourse part of the scene may suddenly have the actress wearing her eyeglasses again, but I don't think so. This is my best theory, that this particular shot you pointed to is an artificial representation of the movie, taken expressly for publicity purposes.

I have to admit that I didn't notice the last thumbnail of the 2nd scene and that thumbnail I posted are somehow connected. But if I have a look at it now I recognized the frame of the bed as well as the mattress.
It's a pity that it is not part of the actual movie. Would have been nice to see that scene with her wearing glasses...
