Thanks @Badboy1988 I might also subscribe to SLR for a month to download some of these movies if I ever find the time. This title is by far the best Koala release and it deserves a high bitrate version.
The best way to figure out before buying/downloading if a movie has the S tier angle is searching by director because they repeatedly use the same angles or have a similar approach to it. The directors that do it best in my opinion are Yazawa Receive, Mizuki Kai and Genius Knee. It's not a 100% guranteed method but a very good start and the rest you can figure out by looking at screencaps. I don't know about the best 5 but the first that came to my mind are those:

I'm not familiar with the feet measurement but I guess what you describe is bascially all the missionaries from A to C tier. None of those have to be super close all the time. I prefer when within a scene the distance changes a bit, like the example I have given in the rankings with the kiss in which the camera moves closer before the kiss, stays at that position but backs off again. For the most part for the S rank some distances is held between you and the girl so you get a good look on her body and not just the face. If you want it super close have a look at 3DSVR-1507, 3DSVR-1566 or AJVR-258.
Huh, my mistake. They often don't state 8k on their cover photo so I just kinda assumed they don't have it. But it seems there is a 8k option on Fanza.
Ooh, Izumi Momoka makes her VR debut at last. I've been waiting for this to happen since her debut last year. Moodyz have been shopping her to look like Nagase Yui but with bigger boobs.

It is difficult to recommend, because this is a matter of taste, depending on the type of actress you like.
I like the missionary to be close, so you can feel the girl. In HereSphere you can adjust the angle by pulling the trigger on the controller and moving the stick up or down, so that the girl's face is at the same level as your face. Or zoom in or out with other buttons.
My favorites are the missionaries where you can see that the girl is really feeling it, writhing, moaning and rolling her eyes... Some examples:

They don't make VRs like that anymore, not even Receive. In a sense and in these particular areas VRs have peaked with releases like this. When it comes to the intensity, no distraction from the fun part and letting a talented and cute actresses express herselfs freely this is it.

Seems like this dude, CovertJapan has improved his gear. When you posted it in this thread a few month ago his releases had a green tint and the picture quality with their 6k camera looked dated. Now they are using a new 8k camera and it looks much better. The newest release has also a girl called Honoka which I think is kinda cute.
It still has most of the shortcomings we have discussed back then like it is very amateurish and this guy is unable to just shut the f up and he talks all the time ; the angles are just 'ok'. But besides that it might be worth to have a look for those that seek some uncensored fun.

As I said above it is difficult to recommend, it depends on the type of girl you like, if you prefer clothes or costumes or nudity, if you want the camera further away or closer...
For me VR only makes sense if you really "feel" the girl, you feel like you are making love with her. Otherwise, it's a waste of time. Unfortunately most VRs are shot with a 2D video mentality, they are made to look at, and not to “feel” the girl.
I don't like clothes in sex scenes either, so I can only recommend very immersive movies, and with nudity. Try to start with 8K movies, they are the best looking and most realistic, although here I recommend some 4K movies as well.

Matsumoto Ichika and Nagase Yui are like a legendary duo in VR and they actually have 3 VR titles together. They have incredible chemistry together and are always fun to watch even without the sex. Of course, the sex scenes are mind-blowing but you need to have some appreciation for lolis.
This snapshot is from MDVR-200 which is my fav of the 3. But KAVR-226 and KAVR-217 are also great. You will appreciate them better if you understand some Japanese and can understand their interaction.

HNVR-071 is one of my most watched VR tiitles according to my XBVR counter. And its all down to the pairing of Nagano Ichika and Miyazawa Chiharu. Yes, I have a bias for lolis. I can also watch them soap each other all day. The sex scenes can wait. Imma gonna watch these 2 cuties having a bath first.
PRVR-016 has your pet cat morphing into Matsumoto Ichika. Many JAV girls have done a cat scene with the ears but Ichika did it best, IMHO. Makes me want to go get a pet cat right now but like hell this scenario will ever come true for us.

I dunno what to make of this. OAVR-003 seems to indicate that there are 2 others before this. I didn't even know AirControl were doing VR image videos.
For some reason, they aren't working with anyone wiling to get completely naked though. They have done so many gravure videos with AV girls, notably Saika. But these are 2 girls who won't get naked at all. I do find semi-nude to still be erotic but I don't get why they didn't get a AV girl.
Also, for some reason they seem to think it necessary to include faux sex scenes these. Totally unnecessary. I kinda get why in 2D gravure even if I'd rather they not. But in VR? What is the point?
Would like to see Rebecca or Fair & Way do it instead. Maybe they might get it right instead.
It is common for some studios to release movies out of order. If this title is OAVR-003, I'm sure they will at least release two more titles.
The trailer got me excited, the girl is mega cute. But I need something more than erotic poses to pay for a movie. I liked the ones you passed me from Rebecca, if Air Control is releasing in VR, maybe the studios you mention will perk up.
Unfortunately, no. Yazawa Receive did several “special” VRs a year with SOD VR, like that one with Ichika. They were mega immersive and realistic, very personal. Like an auteur film. But as of a year ago, he hasn't done any more.
My theory is that those VRs were made with his own camera, they all have a “different” look than the usual SOD releases. The girls look bigger than usual.
But then came the 8K resolution. I remember his last titles of that type were only in 4K, when everything was already coming out in 8K, and in the reviews people complained, they were asking for the 8K version. But he hasn't been able to get an 8K camera, and for not releasing them only in 4K, he hasn't done more. A pity, because they are the most immersive and realistic VRs that exist, although some were a little uncomfortable because of the subject matter.
CovertJapan has improved a lot, but their movies still have many problems. Almost all of them have massages, for half the movie it's just the guy's hands touching the girl. I don't want to see a guy's hands. He doesn't do seated cowgirl, and in missionary he doesn't get close enough. They are uncensored Japanese girls, but he barely shows anything that is censored in JAV. And most of all, the handheld camera on the head makes me really dizzy.
It's the best uncensored JAV VR out there right now, but not because it's good, but because the rest of it is just garbage.
