Oh, Maria Nagai is something. I still remember how I felt about Luna Star when I first saw her years ago, and as I understand, a lot of men just automatically mark obviously fake booty with "nothing to see here", and I'm one of them. But it's the west. Japan should be even more against it... maybe. Obviously fake tits and ass... No, thank you

I mean, yes, they can have great skills, charisma etc., but there is something about the dislike of a fake ass that might be more primal than that for the fake tits (i.e. the hips and all that are indicators of child-bearing qualities of a woman, while her breasts are less important as there is less correlation between the size of the breasts and the milk the woman will be able to produce — and the survival of the offspring). Also, I have too many examples of girls with fake tits in the west who are da bomb (at least for me, obviously): Briana Banks (in her younger years), Sunrise Adams, Sophie Dee, to name just a few. But if I see a fake ass, I'm like that old-school Chris Rock: "Get that f...k outta here!" Imma drop-kick a girl with a fake booty

Yes I'm okay with fake breasts to some degree like I think Karen Yuzuriha and Eimi Fukada are very attractive but fake butt is too much

Yes, but to be honest, Yuu and many other porn stars has been quiet "quitting" in the industry for years!
Even before it became known as "quiet quitting".

Many don't do the "Retirement" thing anymore and just stop accepting roles,
through their agents or whatever.

Fans, are just wondering in many cases or see a rumour on the internet.

As for that article, it's hard to know what's true.
Was it online bullying? Was it because she's getting older and less good roles?
Was it a money issue? Was it something/someone at the studio, costar(s), etc, etc.

Honestly, it's difficult to know.

But she is a great actress. She is not overly beautiful but sexy for her look.
Her body is awesome and looks real.

And I will say compare to Ayumi Shinoda... she is the better actress but its close imo

98% of most popular japanese pornstars are highly overrated.

I've seen Yu Shinoda, Yui Hatano, Yuma Asami and lots of them and still don't understand why they are so popular.

regular acting, normal looking body (nothing to brag about), cute face (not sexy or slutty) and that's it.

that's why I go to less known or amateur-is women. voluptuous bodies, slutty faces and waaaay better at sex that the most popular idols.

well, yes and no. is a generational thing, sadly and not only in japan.

we are seeing less movies with kinky or silly scenarios and more of glamorous, young, less perverted things. the shota movies are great example. back then we got some perverted, sometimes barely legal themes.... now they look like the same age and some of the "old women" are your typical "old sister" boring thing.

I miss those cheap porn pro/amateur sites. normal looking dudes banging normal looking gals (some big tits and fat asses if we were lucky). now is all clean and perfect and instagram-like wannabe models and pretty face/buff guys.

I think Madonna has become overrated as a studio of late.
I like they have some good models who look and act like milfs.

I don't know if my perception is correct but I feel that Madonna is very much a vanilla studio betting a lot on big (both in terms of popularity and curves) actresses like Julia
I might be totally wrong, but that's the kind of perception I have for some reason

So, they will naturally be... too bland for most of here? Writing that, I assume, of course, that the majority of users here have gone past vanilla in their preferences. And I would say that in the West, this might be true. But I don't have any proof, Taako-san :)

Like, if you ask me to name some of the other studios I know (by memory, so no looking anywhere except for checking if I'm correct about the studio name and not mixing up the studio and one of its labels) and give a short impression of each... Note beforehand that I'm mostly interested in oral stuff in JAV, so...
  • Natural HIgh — lots of creativity, quality filming, but nothing "too extreme"
  • Hunter — possibly the best choice for those who don't want "plain vanilla" but something like "vanilla with topping"; I feel that it says a lot
  • DANDY — possibly one of the top studios,
  • Radix (NEO and GUN labels among others) — now this one might be not that creative in terms of "large-scale projects" (compared to Rockets etc.) but they are definitely not vanilla; they're more like hardcore gonzo in the West; niche stuff
  • Rocket — lots of creativity, gave me a lot of "that's-Japan-they're-mad boners"; possibly a big studio, big budgets and projects
  • SOD — possibly one of the giants, lots of creativity as well, big budgets, top actresses, huge projects
  • Real Works — possibly one of the best studios in terms of overall "quality feel" of their titles; clearly more on the fetish side but doesn't feel "too extreme"
  • Office K's — possibly a bigger studio as well, has a lot of long-running series in lots of labels, lots of quality oral stuff
  • SPC (aka asfur) — a niche studio for all of those who love gokkun and oral in general
  • Sex Agent — specializes in oral as well, I feel; lots of titles, but very many of them might just be compilations as the study in my thread linked below shows; even if they're just compiling stuff, they are also quite creative
  • Fitch — the "glamorous" one, high-quality works but not much niche stuff, more like gonzo but with style
  • Waap — more like niche, quality oral stuff
  • Janesu — same, kinda niche, lots of oral stuff as well
I'm sure that I missed a lot of big names, but these are the ones I was able to remember without looking at any lists. I would say that if we're talking about creativity and really high quality, I would nominate the following to the top 5, not in any particular order: SOD, Rocket, Real Works, Office K's, Natural High. And if we're talking about the niche stuff, clearly, the top 3 would be: Radix, SPC, Sex Agent (the last one I would call niche simply because of the number of themes it covers, from armpit licking to cumming on all kinds of clothes)

Obviously, nominating based on an incomplete list is also outrageous, but I feel that it's still interesting to share our views on that
