When you arrange the purchase through desioner, you don't get the physical dvd. He purchases the disc, rips it, does an encode and then posts the DVDISO file and the encode as a torrent. If you can't download torrents, someone else will no doubt grab it and post it in the downloads section...

Learn to search by dvd code. There were rips posted of all three titles you asked about, in the Idol DVD and Bluray downloads section. To date, no one has made torrents of those rips.

People will sometimes still whine, even when you put up an excellent post. You can take that from someone who knows first hand as well. I, for one, thanks you for all your efforts.

Take a bit of advice from someone who's had issues with ripping dvd's. Go here. http://www.dvddecrypter.org.uk/ Download DVD Decrypter, and use it to rip the dvd to your computer's hard drive. Nothing comes with a written guarantee, but I've never known it to fail. You can even rip the contents...

It appears you didn't really read my question, or understand it. I know what .vob files are, know what players and other programs can open them, and I wasn't mystified at discovering them in the download folder. I asked very simply whether or not anyone else was having issues playing them...

Is anyone else having trouble getting the .vob files to play? When I open them with VirtualDub, it appears that whatever was used to rip the dvd didn't decrypt the files properly. :lolidunno:

Try providing the dvd code when making requests, and/or uploading the cover shot here. I, for one, no longer open any attachments hosted on external servers, so I can't see what it is.
