As for why: ¯\(°_o)/¯

I restored a backup from the 28th of January. Unfortunately all posts after that are gone (just a few days and it was either that or start again. from scratch.)

There are numerous bugs such as old attachment thumbnails and everyone's avatar are missing. Sorry about that. Report any more you find.

So..yea. woot.

so did all the people who registered after this date get erased?
oh well better than starting from scratch I guess... I hope this never happens again...
 
I thought an earthquake occurred somewhere yet again.

A few more accidents like this and perhaps I'll discover I'd started enjoying this forum, based on severity of withdrawal syndrome.

Back to lurking. (And wondering why I cant reg in my HF name).

Edit: BLEH. Tried again and could reg in my usual nick. This Mik's out for good, going nuts now. :runintears:

Glad it's back. So what happened anyway? I was browsing through the Idol Videos, and then in almost every post I clicked I saw like a lot of smilies and junk data all over my screen. Next thing I knew the pages wouldn't load any more.

I noticed your error: You tried to add a new collection of smiles, but, the codes that you put in these smiles are just numbers like 12, 16, 18, 19 ... This messed up the whole forum. :...:

I posted more than 100 torrents in shibuyabashi Forum...

I guess, 70% of all the torrents threads created by me are lost...

all "thanks" points are lost too. ( 150 points, I guess , I not remember well... )

so sad...

I really don't feel inspired anymore to continue with this...

I am really very disappointed and discouraged now to post new reposts of torrents... :sigh:

I was out all day when the forum broke. Leech said something about adding smilies but i figured it was a coincidence.
How could something so simple break the forum?
