BXK-01 Ultimate Mix Battle "Berserker vol.01"
This post wouldn't be complete without a share from my favorite sub-genre of JAV vids: Mixed Martial-arts. I have always been a fan of mixed martial-arts in general, but throw in a sexy woman or two who is looking for a good scrap, and it's like a juicy Steak with tall cool glass of beer. A perfect combianation.
This video is an all-around solid effort from the producer - Batttle Japan. The action was spirited with a good back-and-forth feel that kept me guessing. Often these vids will fall into the trap of predictable "your turn, my turn" ebb and flow with the combatants, but Battle did a good job of avoiding that. Although, they skipped the erotic content in this vid, they made up for it in terms of action. Always a fair trade for me.
Both matches are Male vs Female. The men are attired in sporty looking trunks, and the women attired in equally sporty looking one-piece bathing suits. Nothing too racy here. Too add to the realism both male and female fighters were outfitted with fingerless gloves and shin/instep guards. Fingerless gloves are ubiquitous of course, but the shin guards allowed the fighters to rip into their opponent with vicious kicks whose solid-sounding impacts added an aggressive feel to the matches. The extra effort by Battle to keep the action fast-paced and hard-hitting paid dividends on this one.
BSY-01 SEXY style BATTLE Vol.1
It's a rare-thing indeed for me to have high hopes for a vid that are not only met but surpassed. BSY-01 looked like it might have potential and Battle Japan struck again with this immersive pro-wrestling match. The action didn't disappoint me by any means, but, unlike BXK-01, it wasn't the "hook". The real creativity here was in the erotic milieu of the match. While having two beautiful women in skin-tight, high-waisted, one-piece thong swimsuits wrestle is not exactly subtle, there was still an indirect, erotically-charged ambiance to this vid that didn't unduly draw my attention away from the fact that this was a wrestling match, rather than a sexual encounter. That is not to say that I dislike the idea of the latter of course, but too often the erotic-side of some of the "lesling" vids overruns the action in the fight itself, rather than subtly teasing your imagination. And that is exactly what this video does so well.
Its hard to say how they succeeded in doing this precisely. And, maybe my unique set of tastes was what pulled me in to this video so thoroughly. I can't really say. But (so much for not saying) if I were to try to put my finger on some of the rare "intangibles" that made this video great, I would mention these three:
1. a noticeable contrast between the fighters that made you want to root for one or the other (i.e. the underdog factor)
2. evocative acting by both wrestlers that really "sold" the action and drew me in (the sounds of anguish and pain made while they were under attack was exquisite)
3. pacing that was not too fast, not too slow, but just the right tempo (which made me want to enjoy every second)
This combination is what, in my rather verbose opinion, made this video one that I think I will enjoy for a very long time. Needless to say, this ranks right up there with any of my favorites!
SXL-01 Housement Lesbian Boxing 1
SXL-01 is an uncommon take on the female "foxy" boxing vid. This match is not fought in a ring, no boxing trunks were worn, and the Marquess of Queensberry rules were left at the door, because this was an "Apartment Style" boxing match. Any die-hard fan of the catfighting genre could tell you what "Apartment Style" means in this context... No holds barred, vicious, brutal, and (of course) sexy combat. Er, um ...with boxing gloves...
Skeptical I may have been, but after sampling a little of this vid, I've gotta say...what a great fucking idea!!! Granted, this has been done before. I have seen my share of "hit-and-giggle":snicker: boxing vids recorded in some hotel room or sparsely decorated rental property. I've even seen a JAV or two that could be said to fall within the "apartment style boxing" arena. But I've never seen a JAV that has done a foxy boxing style vid (outside of the ring) in what I would consider the "right" way, until now.
The action was intense and merciless. The sexy, bra-and-panties wearing pugilists seemed like they were out to make their opponent kneel to them abject surrender. Whether they were trading hay makers (even of the "low blow" variety), or doling out a debilitating measure of erotic torture, they both gave me the impression that they were not going down without a fight. If BXK-01 was a solid vid for realism, and BSY-01 was a intriguing and engrossing title in the erotic sense, I would say that SXL-01 struck a good balance between the two (and held its own in terms of entertainment value besides). All said, a fitting way to close out my first 3 vid mega-post.
Video Specs and Codec Errata:
All files are stand-alone, that is to say that they can be viewed independently without having to download the whole series files. I decided to go with my usual Xvid codec for BXK-01 and BSY-01, with an avi container. However, due to some fairly nasty video artifacts on my SXL-01 source file, I went with an mp4 container using the h264(AVC) codec in order to filter out some combing and aliasing. :study: If anyone has some suggestions how I could improve the quality of SXL-01, shoot me a PM if you like.
