[QU new here but I read alot of ur replays and they r kind of unique and show a wide experience and knowledge of this genre thanks 4 all of those replays reading them was fun OTE="ding73ding, post: 3458773, member: 258377"]I thought I had a good general knowledge of JAV, but there’s this one thing that I only gradually discovering. I don’t quite understand it yet and I don’t know if there’s a name for it. After puzzling for weeks, literally, I just came up with a phrase for it: Anonymous Idol.
What is it? An Anonymous Idol (AI) is a performer who work full time and appear in many vids (I'd say an absolute minimum of 6 a year, but I guess 20+ per year isn't uncommon). Most often an AI's vid is not a solo work, so she either perform in a scene only or she's in a group sex scene with other idols. An AI isn't totally unknown, the ones that I like tend to be good enough to put out a solo work or two. But in order to qualify as "anonymous" an AI should be
mostly releasing vids anonymously as a
fake amateur.
Well what are these vids? Classic examples are Magic Mirror Bus, Apache, Hunter, ATOM, VRTM, certain SOD titles. Basically the best labels or studios in the amateur or fake amateur game. I'm interested in these titles and AI's because this is the intersection of the best of two worlds: amateur genre offer kinky themes and crazy/silly setup and erotic games, AI's provide high quality T&A (sometimes pretty face too), sexual skills, experience with the camera, and some degree of familiarity.
Needless to say, there is a variability or unpredictability with "amateur" vids, when I see "素人" (amateur) and "一般男女" (average men and women) I used to think (1) not very hot looking; (2) men with limp prick, women who can't ride. And often that's the case! But now that I know, it's possible to distinguish "amateur" vids which are garbage and "fake amateur" which are often better than the most prestigious series.
The other aspect that's making me create this separate thread is that it's not the easiest thing to track this particular genre. DMM (and almost all other info sites just rip their data from DMM) don't list the idol's names for amateur vids and don't list those vids under the tag by idol's name. So the only reliable way to track it is to go to sougouwiki.com using either DVD code (if you have an amateur vid but need to find out or confirm the idols) or idol's name in Japanese. Many AI's have multiple stage names which compounds the problem but luckily Sougouwiki track those. (HINT: click on the radio button ページ名 for idol's name) For fans not comfortable with Japanese, it's pretty annoying. This factor distinguish AI's from regular idols who may once in a while dabble in fake amateur vids. E.g. 尾上若葉 Wakaba Onoue has a regular AV career so if you track her monthly releases on DMM you would have more than enough vids for your regular needs. Only if you are a completist would you care that she also makes a lot of vids as a uncredited fake amateur.
A real AI is slightly below the surface and easily escape notice of a casual AV fan. Which is how I only discover such a thing after one of my fav top idols eventually became an AI and it took me ... I'd say more than a year of despair to finally figure it out.
So let me give a few examples, fav or mine, to hopefully get more attention for these, literally, unsung heroines:
Ruru Aizawa 逢沢るる (
http://sougouwiki.com/d/%b0%a9%c2%f4%a4%eb%a4%eb )
Ruru is the absolute perfect example, the first few years of her career was as a SOD "female employee" (女子社員) as if her day job is as an innocent OL in the marketing department of SOD and only once (or more than once) tricked into performing sex for porn. In time she appeared enough times as female employee that she kinda got promoted to a "senior" or "veteran" status, and given a name (vids and DVD codes to add later). Finally she "graduated" and even made a few solo works with the name Ruru Aizawa and also at least one gravue book. But she didn't make it as a top idol and now (as before) you can only track her vids from Sougouwiki. Ruru has wonderful big tits, is a 3-yr veteran but is still incredibly young (she started at 19 years 1 month)
Honoka Orihara 折原ほのか (
http://sougouwiki.com/d/%c0%d6%b0%e6%c8%fe%b7%ee)
As Mitsuki Akai, she was once a top idol (at least in my head) and made a number of all time classics with E-Body. Then she went uncensored and quietly faded away. I was disappointed her career was so short (generally I don't lose sleep over girls who retire after a few vids) and then someone kindly alerted me to Honoka Orihara, her rebooted self. Honoka also made a number of solo works, but with less prestigious studios, and then repeated the pattern: uncensored vids and fading career. And then... finally I figured it out: she has became an AI as of about mid-2016. And for an idol who has (it seems) lost her name, she's still getting top-billing. As in, a vid with multiple idols, Honoka is usually front and centre on the DVD cover. Bottom line, her name isn't golden any more but her tits can rake in the money. The strange reality is (might be) that Honoka Orihara is still making some uncensored vids (couple times a year?) but mostly doing fake amateur vids (approaching 20 vids a year??), but the later is uncredited so most fans may only notice her as a uncensored idol (
cheap whore in certain circles).
Shiori Tsukada 塚田詩織 (

Umi Hirose 広瀬うみ (
http://sougouwiki.com/d/%b9%ad%c0%a5%a4%a6%a4%df)
I am not very familiar with these two girls, but my impression is that they also fit the bill: not very strong independent career, but regular appearance as fake amateur. Basically, AI's provide a basic guarantee of professionalism for "amateur" vids.[/QUOTE]
