I downloaded Minako Komukai recently, I didn't realize she was famous before JAV. Seems like she has mental and drug problems. Hopefully she does not end up like Aya Makinoda.
Not to mention that Minako got fat as fuck. I was shock when I saw her gravure pics from couple of years ago.
If you've looked at her twitter since she's been out of jail, she has really enjoyed her food an alcohol, and she has gained a lot since she's been out gosh look at her from when she first got out(the caribbean uncensored vids) compared to know, huge change

It's more of a combination of over indulgence in food, contraceptive pills and a devil may care attitude towards the maintainace of the figure. But the main contributing factor are the pills, that is why you see a lot of retiring girls bulge up.
I don't know how many of them use birth control pills since most av actors use condoms and some of the uncensored creampies can be fake too. I remember abigaile Johnson did said she took some when she film amwf titles. It's probably the combination of not excercising, bad diet(drinking+smoking), bad sleeping habit, and excessive partying that speed up their aging. Hibiki Otsuki and yui hatano got good genetics during their debut and slim down their baby fat & reach their peak in the middle of their career. Nowadays, they're sagging. Yui hatano really overwork since she films half a dozen of different fetish titles for a variety of studios each month. Not to mention she needs to attend monthly av event, sing for her idol group, and appear/film for other private and public events/ads in Taiwan a lot. I don't know how many av idols take other drugs too like Risa coda and Nozomi Aso or got sick from filming either physically or mentally. Filming in L.A and Tokyo isn't entirely safe from stds. I still see reports of ex-pornstars gotten HIV and hvp.

Sure you don't eat what you want in prison, it's a tough time without a doubt (I "know" someone who is in the death row for 25 years in the US). Still, you can enjoy food you missed without going over the top. For example, I like eating but I Still keep a diet for sport (without being crazy like Pro bodybuilders). If I want to eat french fries, I will. It's just that I wouldn't do it more than once a week. Minako doesn't seem to care (it's up to her, if she likes how she looks now, fine) as she didn't go back to what she looked like before.

The one I downloaded of Minako was AVOP-009, and she was already getting thick there too. I am the same age as her and I am finding it harder to keep weight down even though I eat the same as before, so maybe age is a factor too.
I'm younger than her and already at mid-20s, a lot of people are now not in shape. Sure not everybody needs to be buff (I like it tho, good for health and you learn more about your body, and I'm not talking about living for bodybuilding, just making it part of your life routine) but when I see people around my age already with a beer belly ... I can't imagine how they will look like in 10 years.
So, age isn't a problem in most of case. Take a look at this guy, he's 60. He is even more ripped now but to much imo, that's why the picture is a good example.

Changing the topic a little, didn't you guys notice the market for former entertaiment stars is sorta slow at the moment?
MUTEKI, for example, has been releasing just underground idols and last release took 2 months to be announced. I mean, I wish they could bring some serious star to it like they did back with Eri Takamatsu or even Mukami Yua.

To me, it's not a bad thing as most of them have horrible skills or aren't that much attractive (if they turn to JAV, it means they didn't succeed as gravure idol, or idol group). Like the former snowboarder girl, she tried JAV, did one movie, and boum, nothing else. Another girl, Ai, from a rock band, 2 movies and vanished. To me, the exception are Yua Mikami and Shouko Takahashi, and the proof is they are still selling a lot of movies more than a year after their debut.
