The original post makes it sound like there is some stigma for white people watching JAV or Asian in general? I'm unaware since I'm Asian-American with little experience with white girls. I just can't imagine where you live now is such a wasteland for meeting girls. I understand what you wrote but I can't understand your thinking. Waiting a bit doesn't make the girls you will meet in the future any better. So how can it be "worth it"? The longer your "desert walk" is, the less you will be attractive to girls. You will be older, which is fine, but when girls meet an older boy they expect him to be more experienced and charming. If you lack experience with girls (I mean the talking and dating and being a nice BF), they will not treat you seriously.

Sure you are improving yourself in other ways, sports and work and money and learning. But that's not enough. Having a GF now may affect your current lifestyle a bit (but you can control it) but it's also a way to improve yourself whenever you get to Japan (or anywhere), to meet a good girl.
