Lately on her twitter account there has been some discussion about Asami doing "Health Delivery Service", and someone pointed out this was kind of prostitution. Part of the discussion has disapeared but you can still find the explanation about the "whoring" aspect of the Health Delivery.
I thought Gravure Idols were supposed to be kinda "clean", i mean no boyfriend, etc....
So is this "Health delivery" really prostitution in Japan, and is it reasonable to think that a gravure idol would do that?? Did it happen in the past with another one?

Eh I don't know where this is came from, I follow her on twitter, and what I'm aware of is that she's had plenty of health issues over the past close to 2 years, whenever she's mentioned something regarding health for what I've seen, it had to do with that.

Agreed, I discovered her twitter because I had heard she had lots of health issues. What I talk about was on a sub thread, not something she posted herself, and it was in english. (But it could have started with a "miss-translation"). BTW, if you know well the gravure industry, can you confirm me about the rules that the idols are supposed to follow?

I'm sure others can elaborate a lot more on that I could, but for example, I know they (although I think not so much anymore) used to lie about their age, and many also didn't use their real name, the not being allowed to date is one they take very seriously though, for example, another girl from an idol group I followed until they split up, was booted from the group last year when it became public that she was dating a boy from her school, shortly after all of her social media accounts got deleted too, so that's one they take super seriously.

I may be wrong, but I have also been following her main and second account for years, her health issue seems to be real and she has had some health issues for a while, and her dog's health has bothered her too.

I didn't notice any tweets about the "Health Delivery Service" though, may you send me the tweet or link?

But I am not surprised if that's true, I don't know much about the rules of gravure idol, but there are similar rules for AV actresses, but not all of them follow those rules. You can see many of them privately engage in prostitution, which is prohibited.

I doubt she would mention that kind of thing on her official account. Normally when gravure actresses do that they change their name and shut down their old social media. Not I think she is likely to do it anyway.

Don't get me wrong, it was not her writing that, it was under her tweet from Feb. 18, and the first tweet was referring to this Delivery Health thing.
Right now when I try to recover the message I have one "this tweet was deleted" and then one which says "this tweet is unavailable". I'm kinda pissed off.
But at least I've got some answers to my questions:
1) Delivery Health seems a synonym to prostitution - I had no clue about that. If I go to Japan, I better not ask for a Delivery Health service if i'm sick lol.
2) It is unlikely, but not impossible, for a gravure model to go "Delivery service"
3) There are still very strict rules around the behaviour of gravure models, including dating. I thought that past some age, they were "freed" from this ban.

About the dating theme, I think as they get older it goes out of the window a bit, when you think of Mayumi, and many other of her age all have or had boyfriends, lets face it when you are looking as good as Asami, there will be millions of people that want to date you, and at 22 who would complain if she did,

Most of all Asami, get better and look after yourself , or better still ask me to look after you
