ZUKO not only is a series for orgy/harem vids, but they consistently make good vids of them. The directors/producers put in efforts and techniques that, e.g. give a good look at 1-on-1 actions during group sex scenes. Also some vids develop excellent seduction and foreplay scenes e.g. see how each "innocent" girls were gradually tricked into joining an orgy.
As for worthy winner, I already gave a positive review for 123 (see early in thread). I think it's worthy of top three. The girls are hot but more importantly the guys were horny and girls hit that perfect balance between willing and coy.
In general, the AVOP didn't pan out the way I hoped, most of the vids didn't even tempt me enough to torrent them, so how could I pick winners? I appreciate others who also wrote some reviews to share, but the whole event turned out to be a bit of a dud. My vote for tops are:
117 for #1 (the outbreak of real tears also the whole "hunting" thing worked and also the special occasion + grandiose )
123 for #2 (just overall a good vid)
119 for #3??? (it lost a lot of points for a few issues) tonight I will go home to watch 107 and I picked out another cover that I will give a try. May be knock 119 off top 3...
Well it's true a lot of harem/orgy vids suffer from that problem and others. But sometimes they get something right, then it's really special. So having gone over 107 (ZUKO's entry to AVOP)... I'd say... it's one of the better vids from ZUKO, but it probably can't knock off 119. It comes to a weird situation. Which is a better porn film? Then 107 is better than 119 (Moodyz crazy all-star fest). But which one is an award winner in AVOP? Then... is 107 really outstanding among the ZUKO series? Not particularly, the 8 women are good looking enough. And the big plus over 127 (the 7 sisters one) is that they are distinguishable from each other. (Mom should be more cougar, GAL should be more cock-hungry in a self-absorbed way, the loli could be more "innocent" etc) And a HUGE minus is the wife, I believe she's Kamihata Ichika 神波多一花, is there ever a woman who have no reason to have an AV career that's her. Rope bondage with a couple A-class (perhaps not quite S-class) names, and intriguing "original work" (原作) only problem was the photo work on the cover was rather unflattering. Turns out it's quite a great rope bondage vid, probably the best rope bondage vid I've ever seen. I've always like the idea of rope bondage but never seen a satisfactory vid. Turns out the original was a novel by the late Oniroku Dan (团鬼六) and I learn that he's the famous S&M writer behind the cult film series Flower and Snake.
