DMM does allow non-Japanese credit cards now. You shouldn't have a problem registering and purchasing content on the website.

You can only buy the videos that are available for online distribution, downloads/streaming. Any videos that are offered only as DVD mail order cannot be purchased as they can't be delivered overseas. You should be able to also buy DMM points for live cam and online gamesi, as well as PPM content.

So are ppl who are trying to remove DRM via XP and fairuse still having problems? Is it with all videos or only the newer ones? I think an rtmp grabber would only grab the already protected vid and not the raw stream.

i am not a techy but i know how to get drm off of dmm.co.jp video content . . .

i know from experience that you cannot use xp to take the drm off of dmm video content - at least i haven't figured out how to do so.

there may be clues left in microsoft support articles. e.g., hxxp://support.microsoft.com/kb/2777760 suggests that xp video and audio cards may designed not to play drm content. or maybe that is something you can debug - that is something i will leave to the more techsavvy - if it is possible to debug the xp video card to play drm that would be very useful - i believe then using fairuse might be possible.

Aimersoft works great on any drm video that is .wmv - which can be duga.jp / dmm.co.jp / and a number of other outlets. it will not work on .wmx. the difference for me would be price. the typical drm'd .wmv file on dmm is about 1500 jpy while newer content can be double that. the typical .wmx file [which is licensed for only 7 days] is 300 to 500 jpy.

The difference between the number of VOD videos on the English site and the Japanese site is only about 2000 videos out of 200,000. That's like 1%!
I can't imagine what videos you are referencing unless you are specifically talking about physical DVD's which are not shipped outside of Japan.

For that matter I can't understand that in 2013 this website can't ship DVDs to the US. Stop holding out on us DMM and Japan

That actress subdomain to dmm is something specific. Try using the digital section's actress_id plugged into a search from that section:
