why is my download speed so slow even after going premium?

Premium users have a high download speed. If you have any issues, please contact our support using "Contact Us" link, clarify details and we will be happy to help you.

Started a DL today from FileJoker. Got about 17 MB out of 280. DL got cut, but not by me or by my routing system. Internet connection was not severed at all. Tried to restart, but got this instead. Have to wait 5 hours just to restart the same DL which didn't finish and is completely useless. Unbelievable, and you can't tell me this time "It's not our fault… !".

@Ship-Shape There are a lot of possible reasons of connection problem between 2 hosts. Regarding waiting time, yes we have some restrictions for free users as any other host. Premium users don't have any waiting time at all.

5 hours and 18 minutes is beyond excessive for just restarting a download which didn't come close to completing the first time. Not to mention that it will have to restart from the very beginning, and can't be resumed, so in a way you're shooting yourselves in the foot.

With these kinds of tactics, who is going to pay money for "Premium"?

@Ship-Shape Possible delay between downloads depends on exact file, quantity of attempts, and so on. This delay might be different for other file or other user.

@MaxFJ i try to download some files , but all end-up at 99% completion and download fail finally.
Can you advise anything that could help?
- i try different browser (ie/ff/chome) but all face the same issue.
- i try to download smaller size of file (around 100 MB) , also fail with same issue.

PS. I use free account, not sure it's because of this or not.

@MaxFJ , does FJ not have the courtesy of letting uploaders know when and why their files have been removed? I recently just Monday, not even a full calendar week ago, posted a title (https://www.akiba-online.com/threads/bfaa-004-knee-high-collection-new-chapter-asami-kondou.1811010/) and I just happened to see someone's response to that post about a file needing to be uploaded again, but from another member that posted a 1080p version of what I posted. I checked my links just in case, and, just as their's, mine are gone. I received no email saying so, no notice when I logged into FJ, no place in FJ that I've ever found that shows a listing of files that have been removed/deleted with a reason why (or not!). That last feature I have on any other hosts I've ever used.

While FJ is a nice service (at times), I find the hassle quite a pain. From what Casshern2 is saying, it seems quite shady that they would not give you any notice of such things. I used to use Depfile to get rare content, but ever since they all but shut down (check their site), it has been a tad tougher to get rare things. Im not sure where FJ is hosted, but no matter where it is hosted, I am terrified by the recent report that the Queen Mary University of London has put out regarding cyberlocker sites. I see tough times ahead for all

Also, aside from "expired" files that page does not explain, mark, or say why files were deleted. And I would need to look to see if anything was deleted, I'm to understand FJ does not email me about them?

@Casshern2, it's not a secret, any partner can see button "Deleted Files" at the bottom of "My Files" page. At this moment we don't have notification about deleted files, but we will think about it. Also, just to remind you, that all questions regarding affiliate program you can discuss with manager much faster via Skype or e-mail.

Hi, my links keep getting reported as premium only. Is there a way to turn this off for my files? Do I have to unset premium every time I upload a file?

I don't see any status of premium on the files page. I thought checking "PU" was for Premium Users and that leaving it unchecked would leave it free.
