@princeali692 have you tried VR yet? If so, then disregard the rest of this.

I get what you mean by the angles. And watching gokkun movies I can see the forward angle and the angles slightly to the left or right to get different perspectives. For those that haven’t tried VR yet I think the misconception is due to the lack of experience with it. It is not just an angle or POV at play, here. It gives the viewer the feeling of being there. You can look at a nice video on your PC of the performer’s face just fine. But with the goggles it looks like you are there in front of her. You’re no longer watching experiencing being in your chair looking at a screen, with VR you are in the space with her, right in front of her. To your point, because of how VR works, no, it won’t show, then, your view of her from the left or right. I’m sure they could if they wanted to, but for the most part things stay static.

Again, VR will put you in the space, so if you’d like to feel and experience what it would be like to be face-to-face with a gokkun star while doing her thing, this is what it will hopefully look like. I say hopefully because the screenshots KV show are those of 360 degree video and not so much Immersive 3D. That’s unfortunate. You can find such fare for KPOP bands on YouTube. No thanks. Who cares what is behind you? I agree! They are better off going the route afesta.tv and others are doing. A 180 degree 3D experience. We’ll see what they come up with. Maybe this first one will surprise us if they decide to make it 3D. Although…if they already have screenshots of it, that might not be possible. Unless they perform some post-production 3D to it.

I can't wait to find out what they produce!

My feelings about VR are actually the exact opposite.

Honestly I never really got the feeling of "being there" when watching VR. Maybe that's due to my low end VR setup: google cardboard + iphone. This might all change if I ever get a more robust setup but for now I find more interesting the ability to look around and see stuff that I couldn't before.

For example in a gokkun video maybe I could look around and see all the dudes that are mere moments from blasting in the girl's mouth. To me that anticipation is very exciting. Or for example in a gangbang/harem/orgy video maybe my favorite girl is now "off screen", rather than pay attention to the action in the middle I could turn to the side and see what she's up to.

To me that is VR's main benefit. Unfortunately it seem like most companies haven't figured this out yet.

VR is going to be different things to different people, it seems. As long as we get something out it, though. :D

I have not personally tried VR yet I must admit. I will however be ordering a google cardboard headset to try it out. KV produces spectacular movies in this genre and I woud not feel like a true fan of gokkun or cum jav in general if I did not try this new movie out in VR. Despite my lack of emthusiasm for VR this is a history making movie for this genre isn't it? I don't kow of any other VR gokkun titles.

True! I only hope they do it in true VR fashion and not just a simple "Look! You can see what's behind you!" kind of thing. Here's hoping!

Well, 'true' Virtual Reality means that you are able to move freely in the enviroment. This is what you get when you wear an Oculus Rift and play a VR game. We are nowhere near getting such a system for live-action recordings. The technology simply does not exist yet. You can get stereoscopic 360 degree video, which is pretty immersive; you are however stuck on the location of the camera. You will not be able to dodge the cumshots!

From a marketing point of view, stereoscopic omnidirectional video is sold as VR.

I've been calling it Immersive 3D instead of VR because that's what it is, as per your and other's comments pointing that out. I've just been lazy to type it all out and have been mislabeling it as VR. Maybe I should start using I3D! But to your point, yes, true VR in porn will probably never happen

That's why it is called JAV - japanese adult video. It is video, not a game. There is no interaction. I think when people like Casshern2 talk about "VR" in JAV, any reasonable person can understand what that means.

I have to say, I mostly watch gokkun and bukkake, and so for me it's hard to see the value of "immersion", since these types of videos by definition involve a very large number of guys, giving all their attention to just one girl. To show the POV of one guy and letting viewers see around the girl seems to undermine the whole point of these type of videos.

You are of course correct, I didn't mean to come off all pedantic and unreasonable. Sorry, Casshern2! ;) It's just that sometimes I get slightly triggered when the lines between technology and its labels get blurred. Like when 'holograms' where all the rage a few years back (i.e. Hatsune Miku, Tupac) when in fact that had nothing to do with holographic projection. But that's just me being a linguistic stickler.

Still, you never know what the future holds. I could well imagine computers being able to extrapolate spatial data from a number of cameras to create a true and believable virtual space. In fact, people are working on the concept already. But yeah, it would work better for orgy scenes...

Ah, but remember, @pikuseru, it isn't one guy's POV. With I3D it's your POV. You can look directly at the girls face about to get drenched or while she's getting drenched, or you can look left or right at the guys currently unloading and/or guys next in line. No more suddenly seeing Man X's mosaiced member enter stage left, you could conceivably see the guy walking up instead. Provided the producers made it that way. Forget about POV in the traditional sense.

For $6 per title, you may as well buy it legally then use a sketchy site like that.

You're aware that most JAV DVDs are like an average of $35USD right?
Even when you buy them you can't easily make a backup and they treat the consumer like a thief.
I referring to dummy data and corrupted DVD structures etc.

Even if a legal download was "just" $6 it's a total rip off if it has DRM.

The only one that offers legal downloads fairly at the moment is Dogma. No DRM and about $10 usually for older titles.

I suspect you are the one reporting threads to studios so that they can issue a DMCA notice.
Are you paid for this?

BTW DMC-30 looks awesome!
The nose hooks are not my thing though but it's not offensive.
I think the director does whatever he wants and couldn't care less about what your likes or dislikes are.
I hope he continues making them as weird as possible so he keeps annoying you!
After all this is the director who puts a women fisting men scene in a bukkake movie. Who the heck does this?!

If you want the ultimate in weird bukkake, check into FB-16 with Yuria Hidaka!

My problem with Milky Cat is that some of the more recently released titles had pretty bad video quality.
I think he made them years ago and just sits on them forever.

Even DMC-29 had this ugly yellowish tint at times..
Most of their stuff generally has good video quality.

PS DMCA notices are infuriating! An ISP can be forced to remove content even if it's not even a violation.

rnishimura: let's put this way: if you're pulling out your wallet already, the difference between $6 or $12 (going by R18 pricing) isn't much. Yea, one has DRM which is annoying, but not critically. If you're buying an actual DVD, then you can rip it yourself. File locker sites will more often than not have crappy SD cuts with out of sync audio and gaudy watermarks.

"I suspect you are the one reporting threads to studios so that they can issue a DMCA notice."
Actually, this wasn't me. Not this time at least.

"The only one that offers legal downloads fairly at the moment is Dogma"
Our site has quite a few Gokkun movies by RASH now with more added about every month or two. All are legally licensed. We'll start showing Gokkun titles by WAAP and DREAM TICKET next year.
Oh, and zero DRM.

"Are you paid for this?"
See sig.

"DMCA notices are infuriating! An ISP can be forced to remove content even if it's not even a violation."
They sure are infuriating, but most are legit so there's that. (and yes, you don't need to link the various Torrent Freak stories about how once in a blue moon a studio may send a funky DMCA notice to VideoLAN or something--mistakes happen).
