Have you ever been bored or sitting somewhere and wanted to show off a very unique toy? Well you have probably seen these before, but now there are some new toys... they are PERFECT for those of you who are obsessive-compulsives. Then there is this one... the ever-famous edamame soy-bean popper. It's great gun and you can pop the beans out again and again. In this case, there's two versions of the same thing. In the second image is a virtual bubble-wrap popper that makes the sounds and gives the feelings. It's great too! - 1,000 for the edamame bean poppers & 1,200 for the bubble-wrap popper

Another fun one is this - constantly crack open cans of beer/soda or whatever! The 'wrappers' around the top come in either Coca Cola, tea or beer (Japanese brands, of course!). - 1,400 yen

One special candy that's sold in Japan are these little candy-squares of chocolate and mochi. They are amazingly tasty and have the ability to magically un-wrap themselves. This little guy is the Mochi-Chocolate "Mole" - 1,000 yen for either pudding flavored or strawberry shortcake flavored - 1,100 yen

Here is your own private jelly-fish. Throw it into a bottle of water and swish it around. He moves up, down, left, right and dances around due to boyancy. It's really quite cool! - 1,200 yen

There are famous game-shows on Japanese TV. One famous show revolves around adding speech bubbles above peoples head. Anyways, this one is a lot of fun as it spouts off a random insult from "You are a smelly manko (vagina)" to "The ***** is unwholy and small". Don't know about you guys but I could doze/sleep on the train and subconsciously be aware of where I was on the line all because of these jingles and the voice that announced the next station. Most convenient!

Could you check out some local bookstores next time you're in the vicinity of 'em and tell me if they have a Japanese translated copy of The Bone Collector by Jeffrey Deaver? Long story short, I might want to buy a copy and I might not. It depends on whether or not my Japanese grandma friend can decipher the original just fine or if it proves to be too illegible. (link: the film starring Denzel Washington, maybe you've seen it before)

Or, on the other hand, if there's a place with fair S&H which exports Japanese books of all shapes, sizes, and kinds, a link or phone number would be mighty handy, too.

As for those voice-enhancing pills, dude, tell us / show us what the ingredients are. Maybe I can make heads or tails of it for you. And if I can't? I'd like to look it up!
