This is somewhat of a long post, but stay with me. I'm hoping someone can educate me on this since I am not too familiar with Japanese culture or Japanese acting...

So, MOST of the American porn I watch is VERY fake. Most of the girls do not seem to actually enjoy it and they rarely have what appears to be a legitimate orgasm (but it does sometimes happen).

Since I've been watching Japanese porn (almost a year now) it seems to me that a majority of the performers do legitimately enjoy themselves and do frequently have orgasms...sometimes many orgasms in the same scene. Now, are they just significantly better at acting than American pornstars? Or is there something different when it comes to Japanese porn that makes them actually enjoy what they do to the point of having intense orgasms?

Some of the main differences I notice between Japanese and American porn:

-Japanese scenes are usually much longer. The average American porn scene seems to be 30 mins or less, but I've watched Japanese scenes that go on much longer than that.

-Much more foreplay in Japanese porn. Some scenes will have a guy teasing and pleasuring a girl for a half hour before they even start having sex. An American porn scene would be over by then.

-Kissing. There is more of it in Japanese porn and I've noticed they kiss different than us Americans do.

-Squirting. Much more of this in Japanese porn (not that I mind).

-Resisting. A lot of scenes tend to have a female who initially resists the males advances only to eventually appear to have mind-blowing orgasms.

Blame Visa and Mastercard for that. Western porn (especially for sites/business that use processing in USA) is way more regulated than Japanese porn. This is why you don't see the type of r*** movies famous in AV done in the west. Companies who put them up/produce them would be receiving emails from their billers telling them to remove the movies right away else they may lose their billing capabilities. Japan may need the mosaic, but theme restrictions are more relaxed. This has led to western movies frequently coming off as too phony and fake. The plus side is some of the output from western studios has completely eclipsed Japanese AV in terms of production quality (Digital Playground, X-Art, etc.) though their titles do focus almost entirely on the act of sex in ways that are not really authentic.
