Quite a few attendees there. But since eveything is a closed door meeting at the request of the cops, the details are not revealed.

But looking at one of the headlines, things could be bad with it saying "they are killing us." I will let the few Japanese literate people here translate the minute points of the reports but a major point is that the cops are going to get AV to comply with the anti prostitution ruling which brings credence to the rumour that they want no penetration to be involve during filming

I feel like you're making something out of nothing

    d) Police would seek to apply every law in the book if illegality were to be found.

    e) Eradicate all cases of coercion.

    f) Business activities must be in accordance with the Anti-Prostitution Act, Employment Security Act, and the Temporary Staffing Services Law.

and tokyoreporter did something about it https://www.tokyoreporter.com/2018/...is-illegal-to-coerce-women-to-appear-in-porn/

nothing about the nonpenetration stuff, just about not coercing/forcing girls into videos, nothing about taking away penetration

Technically, AV actress are paid to have sex with men they hardly knew. How is that not prostitution if you want to apply the strictest sense of the word ?

Based on what is reported on the Japanese article, the cops want the industry to comply with the existing Anti-Prostitution Act. So penetrative sex, IMO, is not possible on screen if they are really going to enforce their demands.

But, as of now, we do not know what exactly the cops wants in details as all media are driven out in the 20 min briefing as there are polarizing views.

"
TOKYO (TR) – Tokyo Metropolitan Police on Thursday provided a guidance seminar for personnel in the adult video (AV) industry to highlight the law as it relates to the coercion of women to appear in productions, reports NHK (Feb. 2).

At the event, police provided about 180 representatives from AV labels, talent agencies and inspection organizations with documents outlining laws and ordinances that are to be observed when it comes to hiring women to appear in films such that they are not coerced to do so."
the article is 99% about stopping coercion, getting consent, and following the law, if there was something about getting rid of penetration you really think the 180 representatives would keep there mouth shuts? they talked about the coercion stuff, why wouldn't they talk about that?

Well, the guys and girls are tested, so they won't spread more std in public. Also, idols are treated as celebritities in Asia with grand fan events and more. Going through some loophole and grey area while closing up and scaling back the circle

So we have another round of arrest made concerning coercion into filming with one studio owner and an agency's head of operation taken in. To cut things short, they forced a girl to film an uncensored release back in 2015 and imply that she needs to compensate for the publicity expenditure in cash if she didn't comply.

What's interesting about this round of arrest is that the prosecution officially slap the trio arrested with the rare charge of "淫行勧誘罪", which translate more or less as "Sextortion for monetary gains", whereas In previous cases, it's usually comes to labour abuse. In this case, the charge can be amount to r*** depending how one might argue about it and the accused can be sent to jail instead of a fine for labour abused.

The Tokyo district court rejected the request for detention of the Tokyo District Public Prosecutorship, and Jan,20 he was released.
After all, "淫行勧誘罪" seems to have been impossible.:D

As Kiryu pointed out, the seminar is not a Q and A session. So the reps are just there to listen to what the cops have to say.

And while they have ask the industry to comply with the current rulings, it remains to be seen if there will be any enforcements.

It's a relief to have the biggest charge thrown out. As I said it's the conviction that counts. And If the cops are serious about mopping out vices, they should start with the soaplands and Tobita Shinchi instead of AV.

In regards to AV, no doubt the police have an obligation to keep their pensioner happy and yet need to follow the command of the politicians. The seminar is a performance as stated by a comment in the original Japanese article. But I do not think it's wise to test them.

and if the cops said something about killing off penetration then the reps would've made a big deal out of it in the media, because they where allowed to talk to the media afterwards.

it's just simply you've been getting a bad rap, follow the laws and you'll be fine, the JAV industry generates too much money to kill it off, no politician would be dumb enough to have that happen.

Really the only ones screwed are the uncensored industries they are about to get even bigger crackdowns

Heres an interesting theory i heard over on scanlovers:

Since Japan is passing tighter laws regarding AV, by the 2020 Olympics, JAV could have NO penetration whatsoever, and it would become like IV is right now.

Now, this next one wasn't on SL, but I thought long and hard about it. The 2020 Olympics are being held in Tokyo. The entire world pretty much turns out for this, with billions of people watching. While nothing (that we know of at least) happened at the super bowl this year, it would make sense that some terror group would target the Olympics in Tokyo. Since you have people flying in from everywhere, it would cause mass hysteria. Once again, this is just a thought experiment, but it does have some level of cleverness to it. If that WERE to happen, the JAV industry would be in ruins (at least most studios). If it were a nuclear weapon used.... that could very well be the end of JAV in total. Going forward from that, they would probably continue to create JAV, but this might be years after the fact. Imagine all the rare stuff we have never even heard of that would be decimated in the blink of an eye because a group wanting to strike terror into people decided like this would be the perfect opportunity. Well, they were right on that.

Now, a disclaimer: I do not think that EITHER is going to happen, but sometimes it is fun to think about it (but also terrifying). If you love the Japanese AV Industry, and wish to get those super rare JAVs just in case, then the best course of action is to fly to japan, make friends, network with others that have similar interests, find the JAVs, make a digital copy just in case they are confiscated when you leave the country, go back to your home country, and share with like minded people. That is the best course of action if you want to ensure that the stuff you love is preserved for all eternity (so long as the files are being backed up, and refreshed every month or so)!

there's not really anything going around about them trying to cut out penetration, just regulate the industry more and stop coercion/forcing people to do things, if they cut out penetration they'd kill off the jav industry and doing that takes a lot of money out of the economy, and out of politicians pockets because surely definitely Hokuto has political ties, nothing is going to happen there.

Second part: well Aikra did predict the 2020 olympics in Tokyo, maybe the rest of Akira might also come true!

I very much doubt Akira (Manga nor the Anime) is somebody of view into the future. But if we ended with cool bikes like Kanada...hmmm.

Nobody has talked about penetration and honestly, nobody has a problem with that. Coercion is the main issue and sex scene filmed in public.

Agreed I don't see penetration being banned.

However, if we're talking hypotheticals, if it was, I think this would happen:

*Big increase in anal sex movies.
*Big increase in "anal sex" movies (real penis-in-vagina but with heavy mosaic and no close-ups)

Anal sex is NOT banned per any prostitution law. This is why many brothels clearly offer it on their sites as an optional service. AF = Anal Fuck.

That post is the name of the program that was on the screenshot and the power of Google. It is not my power.
Everyone here is more familiar with AV than I am.
Although it may be possible to find it based on the hint ... I do not seem to be able to meet expectations. I'm sorry.:(
